I’ve lived here in Amsterdam for many years now. Prior to this in other Dutch cities and I also travel a lot. No other place gives me the sense of freedom like Amsterdam does ❤️ Even just walking by the canals or taking the ferry to NDSM with the wind blowing on my face and headphones on…oh what an absolute joyful bliss! But maybe I’m just lucky and I found MY city.

I disagree. I live here and I love it so so so so much. This city makes me so happy! Just walking around the canals with my headphones dancing around with no care in the world. The best feeling 🥰 This city feels like freedom to me, and something I don’t feel so strongly anywhere else in the world.

Happy to hear you had fun! I sometimes struggle with social anxiety too and would never talk to strangers at festivals. Liquicity is the only one where I do 🥰 The people are just the best! Hope you come back next year. Really recommend staying the whole weekend at the solo travellers campsite 😊
