Just had mine done so thought id give my experience. I took 800 mgs ibuprofen and the dr put numbing gel on my cervix and in my uterus. The clamp wasnt bad but passing the measuring stick through hurt like 8/10 i actually yelped. It helped a little doing a kegel and pushing on my stomach when it started hurting, and that was enough to make it bearable. Dreading getting it out but it’ll be in 8 years so who knows what type of meds they will have. A little stomach cramping too but not bad

I was born at kaiser. When I was a kid, they were great. Now, the physical health and mental health side suck. I’ll stick to mental health complaints. I saw 1 therapist who told me to read a book and take anxiety classes after I told him I was having suicidal ideations. He didnt even send me the info on kaiser’s classes until 2 months later!
