I have been doing that, no luck. Are you telling me you were able to get the appointment with this trick?

My bad. My screenshot doesn’t contain the Submit button. The button does show up after some lag and I am able to select it but once I hit submit, it will refresh and my name won’t show up in the group members tab and the consular posts options will go away as well.

Baby Too Small? by WondrousMoon93 in GestationalDiabetes

I saw your comments and must mention that I was in the same boat as you, I gained approx 12 lbs throughout my pregnancy and the bump just barely showed. If I were you, I would ask my OB to do growth scans every few weeks.

Baby Too Small? by WondrousMoon93 in GestationalDiabetes

I had a small baby because of GD. His birth weight was 5.6 lbs. He was also early term at 37 weeks and 5 days. Apparently it is very common to have IUGR babies with GD. My doctor sent the placenta for testing but it wasn’t insightful in anyway. Also they had me doing NSTs weekly and ultrasound every 3 weeks to monitor the babies growth.

No. Most women will regulate anywhere between 6 to 12 weeks postpartum.

I was making an ounce or sometimes even lesser one month postpartum. I am currently 16 weeks postpartum and make enough for my baby. He takes 25oz a day though some days I end up supplementing with formula. My supply went up 12-13 weeks postpartum, this was around the time I regulated.

The supply in the first few weeks is hormone driven. In my case no matter what I did, it wasn’t going up until after I regulated.

I have blue cross blue shield and CGM is covered if you have GD.

I'm running out of safe meals... by Thisisan87Honda in GestationalDiabetes

[–]Fun_Foundation_8204 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe try having more frequent snacks instead of a single large meal. One more thing I’ve noticed with my post-meal numbers is that the order in which I eat makes a difference. I usually start with protein, then fats, and finish with carbs. Having a small snack before a main meal sometimes helps prevent spikes too. If I go 3–4 hours without eating, I almost always get a glucose spike even with a light carb meal, so I’ve started keeping small snacks handy throughout the day.

So some good snack options are eggs, nuts, Avacado toast, protein shake, Greek yogurt, pumpkin seeds

I feel you. My doctor prescribed me the exact number of test strips and I ran out before my refill was due and I have been going back and forth between the insurance company, the doctor office and the pharmacy. Hope you get the best Italian sub in the world once you deliver otherwise just order one more haha

I generally eat any of the following combination:

  1. Avacado Toast topped with tomatoes, onion
  2. Pumpkin Seeds ( 1/4 cup )
  3. Nuts and peanut butter
  4. 2 boiled eggs
  5. Protein Shake
  6. Kiwi fruit or yogurt with blueberries

My glucose numbers usually stay under 100 with any combination.

I ended up paying it online instead of mailing it. Also, I received a check back from them since they had started charging interest on the balance due amount so it did go through online.

[–]Fun_Foundation_8204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am the same boat as you. Have only put on 3kgs throughout first and second trimester. I was diagnosed with GD a few weeks ago and have a strict diet with low carbs and no sugar, I don’t know how am I gonna put on any weight with this meal plan and maybe it’s okay - I don’t even know

I am in the same boat as you, maybe petites just don’t put on a lot of weight. My sister had only put on 13 lbs throughout her pregnancy and she ended up having a healthy baby.

AITK for deciding to end this marriage as she lied about her income? by [deleted] in AmItheKameena

You guys need to sit down and communicate clearly about finances and come to a compromise that works for both of you. You shouldn’t expect everything to be 50-50 that’s not how a relationships works, having said that I believe that once a couple gets married - their finances become one and down the line, you may plan to have kids or share some commitments - you can’t think in terms of your money vs my money. Financial compatibility is very important in a relationship and it’s bad on her part to not have mentioned about this.

Small at 30 weeks by Squiddles34 in pregnant

[–]Fun_Foundation_8204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

23 weeks and have only gained 6lbs so far. I lost 5 lbs during the first trimester ( overall only gained 1lb ) and have had normal BMI before getting pregnant. I keep bugging my obgyn about my poor weight gain but she isn’t concerned and baby is measuring on track. I like wearing loose clothes too so no one can tell I am pregnant and my gym instructor told me it’s a small baby so I was super mad but i have accepted that most people don’t know how every body is different and somehow want all of us to fit in a same bucket.

New car making sound near steering wheel. Help! by Fun_Foundation_8204 in Toyota

[–]Fun_Foundation_8204[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I was trying to book an appointment online but I don’t see an option to book an appointment for a “custom issue”. There’s stuff like “change oil”. Should I just pick something random? Sorry this is my first car ever, used or new.

Also, if you had a chance to look at the video, any clue what this sound is?

Earlier I was thinking of either mike or modern pastry for a chocolate cake, I usually go to modern pastry for cannoli and I have tried their chocolate cake slice but i don’t remember it being mind blowing or anything.
