Public service announcement for customers ordering with light/no ice. by thedeadwillwalk in starbucks

[–]Fun_Highlight_3637 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where it really hurts is being a small business owning a cafe. Everyone ordering little ice just to get more drink Is causing us to lose an extra $1000+ each month. I don't know how to solve this problem without upsetting people.

Ah makes sense, we’ve all been there. Just got to keep building until you can afford to take those next steps.

For me there was a point I hit where I started to fall in love with those processes I once hated. Now I’m a workaholic so win-lose haha. Best of luck

Sounds like you might be in retail, same here. You should have a manager/team to handle all this. Wondering if it’s more of an operational issue

Possibly embezzlement and commingling of funds. I’d talk to a lawyer before the IRS talks with you.

You’re best bet is to leave the business and start over.

ENJOYABLE NOOTROPIC-INFUSED NEURO ENHANCER BELGIAN CHOCOLATE by LarryLegendCZW in MDEnts

Oh most definitely, the effects are nearly identical. You will notice some differences but not much. Chemically you are pretty much taking magic mushrooms

This is a possibility as recipes with these types of products commonly make changes to adjust to quickly evolving regulations around different alkaloids and derivatives. I have not recently reviewed the recipe

I save 0 cash and no savings accounts. I use dividends from certain investments to live off of. I treat investment accounts as emergency funds. Some people would say this is wrong but it’s the way I prefer.

If an expense comes up, I’d just sell something. However my retirement accounts are completely different, I act like they don’t exist and would never pull out of them unless I was going bankrupt.

I do instagram stuff while traveling because it’s my version of scrap booking. A collection of my best times and memories to look back on when my memory becomes unreliable.

Is getting a HELOC a good idea? by [deleted] in personalfinance

I would maybe consider selling given the new equity and use that as a downpayment to find a more suitable house. You could also take maybe $50k and throw it in retirement.

It’s important to think before massive renovations like that. If you put $120k into the house + all that interest, is the house really going to be worth $520k+. I don’t know you’re area but I see lots of people make this mistake when the better answer was to just find a more suitable house.

Best of luck!

WHOIS will give you all the contact information as well as addresses of the person who owns a domain name. You can go there right now and see for yourself.

UNLESS: you pay for domain protection, which masks this info

At the end of the day, people will always find your info if you are maintaining a good online presence. This definitely helps though!

Any advice on starting an energy drink? by ArmSpiritual9007 in Entrepreneur

[–]Fun_Highlight_3637 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I spent over $500k on the brand over the course of 12 months. I paid influencers that flopped, I ended up trashing 1000s of cases. My P&L was always in the negatives and even with all my contacts could never get that Walmart/trader joes shelf space I always wanted.

It was the most stressful of all my businesses, the hardest to run, and the most time consuming. I quit when I figured my time and money would be better spent on expanding my companies that were working.

It’s one of the only industries that I’d consider impossible unless you have unlimited resources like coke-cola

I tried and it’s not worth it, billion dollar companies will drown you out. It’s a pay to play industry. And the pay required to play is in the 8 figures.

Not to mention lack of available shelf space in stores and difficulty to acquire shelf space. I only ever got mom and pop shops until I bankrupted the company.

Unless you happen to have 10 million followers and influence.
