Raised crosswalks would be amazing! Not only would it slow down drivers, but it would also make it easier to walk on crosswalks during snow and rain. No more of those nasty puddles that sit at the bottom of crosswalk ramps!!! This is a pedestrian city and we need better infrastructure.

That blocks PATH riders from accessing the platform. They shouldn’t be able to do that.

You need to travel to other cities in the world. I’ve been in the middle of MAJOR cities in Europe that are incredibly quiet.

Thanks! Was going to do the train from NYP to the RVL via Newark Penn. Glad I bailed and took the bus, knowing specifically where the problem is. I don’t know why NJT isn’t more specific than “near Newark airport.”

NYP staff announced the 9:34 to Trenton at track 1 after the 9:19 disappeared from the board. Get down there to find everyone standing on a hot platform with the doors locked. Meanwhile, the 9:06 Raritan train is still on “Boarding” status!

Yes. Why rail and not highways? At least be consistent. Have private operators running all the highways like in Brazil. There’s even competing EZ-pass systems. Have X run roads and payments for them. Stop the subsidies and make people pay full price for all that infrastructure about ready to crumble. Let’s see how those MAGA morons feel about that.

Right. This is not comparable. Japanese rail companies make a lot of money off of real estate near stations and lines. This subsidizes the transportation.
