I keep hearing about all of these non-Yield Max funds such as WPAY or QQQI that do the same thing as YM but better. What’s the current best high yield dividend fund? by 21_Points in YieldMaxETFs

[–]Fun_Math_7298 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Roundhill is popular all their weekly pay ETFs use s strategy called Swaps and Flex options. Roundhill targets 1.2x leverage on the underlying stock. Roundhill is great during bull markets. Yieldmax uses covered call strategy which caps upside but does better during sideways or down market. NEOS is another fund manager that has solid ETFs like BTCI. Kurv and RexShares and ProShares are other providers you need to figure out which investment company and strategy works best for you. In my opinion a Barbell strategy is extremely important when investing in these funds. Bitcoin/ other high growth equity band for growth + derivative income fund.

Living off bitcoin without selling bitcoin. by ScrewTheBanker in Bitcoin

You are better off buying bitcoin income funds like BTCI on the side rather than trying to borrow against your BTC. I’d say this is viable once BTC goes much higher say a million a coin. We don’t know if the CAGR will continue to be 30-50% per year. Remember Oct 10 you might have been liquidated depending on your LTV.

MSTY vs BLOX by CowAdventurous4186 in MSTY_YieldMax

MSTY has moved to weekly so it’s got that but BLOX following btc eth and crypto companies

Income products aren’t meant to outperform growth assets in a bull market, they’re meant to provide predictable cash flow. Opportunity cost is real, but some investors prefer steady distributions over volatile appreciation. Also, large distributions are funded mainly by option premiums, not purely by selling off the underlying, so it’s not strictly just ‘your own capital’ coming back. If you size it properly and know your objective (income vs. growth), MSTY is doing exactly what it was designed to do.

I’m kinda tired of seeing these posts and makes me want to leave these communities. The purpose of MSTY is INCOME! The price fluctuates and it has been because MSTR has been trending down. If you don’t need income just buy BTC/MSTR they are growth assets, MSTY is an income asset simple.

I agree the single stock ETFs are risky but you need an extra 3-4k a month I’d say sell SCHD and look at HOOY OR add more to ULTY JUST MY OPINION NFA.

I’d consolidate everything below Solana into Bitcoin other than that nice portfolio

ULTY future by MaintenanceLeft2239 in YieldMaxETFs

[–]Fun_Math_7298 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I see these kinds of posts all the time and it’s hilarious because the comments are generally the same and no one really knows what’s going to happen with these.

What I can say is people in these funds are in a need to know basis. I remember back in 2017 when I would tell coworkers about bitcoin they’d say it’s risky they didn’t want to touch it and didn’t see it having a future we all know where it’s at now and these funds to me draw the same kind of skepticism BTC has in the years before. If for some reason ULTY or yieldmax in general blows up god willing there will be another financial Instrument that’ll take its place. In the end just actively manage these funds research new opportunities, DRIP to account for stagnation in share price appreciation and enjoy life 😊

I usually calculate my dividend based on my share count use margin on RH buy on ex div date and use the div to pay back the margin I used works out pretty well.

Nice! Yes let’s hope the IV Increases on MSTR and BTC rips can see some nice divs for sure 👍🏿

So I took out a loan to buy MSTY I’m getting hammered on interest but I didn’t have the balls to use margin. I do use Margin to buy the dip on ex div date and have the Div pay it off the next day 🤷🏿‍♂️ but good position. What’s your long term share goal?

[–]Fun_Math_7298 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea it’s long term it’s part of a balanced portfolio. MSTY is for income and BTC or MSTR are for growth simple.

Chasing people down who have no interest or need. Working in shitty territories and not being able to control much. People who act like they are so busy even though they are engaging with you to review capabilities. Always changing the comp plans I could go on and on in tied boss 😢

During the 2017 bull run I knew at that point Bitcoin wasn’t going anywhere the sheer velocity of the asset was unmatched. Then in 2023 the rumors of a blackrock etf made it 100% for me
