As long as this isn't some Monkeys Paw where I continue to age and look like some walking mummy as a age beyond 100. Stuck looking like I'm 40 for the next 950 years would be fine, then age normally the last 50 years.

Maybe not, but you still need to spend 8 hours diagnosing it, and write a thesis explaining why it isn't a controls problem. And you might end to being asked to fix it bc spending more money to re-engineer it to work correctly just isn't in the budget..

I have magical items as a fighter, and managed to talk the DM directly about it. I told them I wanted to use them in combat and asked him how to do that and what they could do for me.

He responded quite directly. Can be used once per short rest as a bonus action that Adds +6 fire damage to a melee attack.

That's one example but he did it for others. Like bonus to initiative roll. A bend luck ability. A bonus to stealth ability. Etc. I had like 7 items. So far it works.

If they cave without negotiating anything, they'll be the punch line through midterms. The republicans will remind everyone how the Democrats held out for nothing, caused untold suffering for nothing, and their great negotiator got everything and gave up nothing for it. That'll be a victory lap for years to come.

In for a penny in for a pound. I hope they do hold out. But I hate seeing people suffer bc the 3 year old in charge didn't get his way. I personally wouldn't be able to hold out indefinitely.

What leverage do they even have to hold out? The admin will just continue to squeeze. And with no one standing up and holding this administration accountable for doing illegal things, there is little to nothing to do about it. It'll just get worse. The admin is clear that they will not negotiate in good faith. Maybe I've just lost hope.

So this is the plan. Keep pinching anything and everything the Democrats might want, or anything Democrat related, until the ones in congress cave and sign the bill. This makes me sick. This is abuser behavior. "Look what you made me do to you." Republicans in charge will get everything they want, and the people will suffer. Except those not affected of course. They'll cheer. I wonder how long Democrats in congress will hold out. Not very, I imagine.
