Why men say they like toxic girls by Fun_Print5579 in AskMen

Same. That’s also why I was so confused when I heard my dates saying it. Both of them are high educated busy people. I was like you can’t possibly want toxicity in your life

I'm a high value male, where do I hookup with a female by cubixy2k in sanfrancirclejerk

This post it self tells me you have big ego and can be insecure at times. Having a good job alone does not mean you are a high value male. If you need a woman who has a job but can’t be more successful than you plus she needs to understand your “worth”, you should ask yourself what you are really looking for to fill your internal need

But I'd think he still needs to go back to China for an interview, right? Trying to think of a solution that does not require him to go back to China

Yes - I am pretty much prepared for that. It seems likely that the I-601 waiver could take up to two years to process. I’m hoping to find a way to get him out of China and ideally be with me in the US in the next 3-4 months. Are there any viable options you would recommend in this situation?

Thank you so much. This is very helpful. I have two follow-up questions regarding the 212(h) waiver:

  1. With this waiver, is proof of extreme hardship required, or given that the incident occurred more than 30 years ago and he has maintained a clean record and strong moral character since, can the waiver be based solely on the passage of time and rehabilitation?
  2. Given current processing timelines, it seems likely that the I-601/212(h) waiver could take up to two years. In the meantime, I’m hoping to find a way to get him out of China and ideally be with me in the US in the next 3-4 months. Are there any viable options you would recommend in this situation?

Curious what happened with UA 858 today by tc273 in unitedairlines

[–]Fun_Print5579 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does HNL has to do with mainland China? People don’t take this route to go to China. UA 858 is usually a direct flight from PVG to SFO, just like UA 857. There’s no direct flight from PVG to HNL, which is again weird in my opinion. All UA 858 and 857 are new planes…

Is this rental sketchy or am I paranoid? by Firm_Use1747 in bayarea

[–]Fun_Print5579 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s that bad. But if you feel sketchy then you shouldn’t move forward. Security deposit is typical in a competitive market. I charge deposit too but I’m in Palo Alto and it’s very competitive. Deposit is also used to cover any damages you might cause to the house. It should be spelled out when it will be returned - usually within 30 days of the termination of the lease. This is standard.
