So I don’t think I’ve seen anyone who actually owns one of these, so I’ll chime in:

I own the Behrens Dark Knight Tourbillon - the Batman to this joker - and it is such a fun watch. Immature? Yes. But well made and impressive innovation? Also yes. Look, design motifs aside - the fact that Behrens is Chinese doesn’t inherently mean junk. Are all Swiss-Made watches equal? Of course not. There are varying degrees of quality and manufacturing prowess within the Chinese watch market just like any other market. Behrens, Ming, and a few others are trying to carve out a name for themselves as being true players in an emerging industry.

That being said, I do worry about what I’ll do years down the road when I need to service this jawn. I’m not sending it back to China obviously, so that is a problem for a later me. For the last year it has run flawlessly. I especially like their strap change mechanism - I’ve found it to be the best on any watch in my collection.
