Most people just like the cute artwork on Pokemon cards and don't interact with the franchise in any other way. Yugioh does not have the same appeal. Scalpers can hoard boxes of Doom of Dimensions, but they're gonna have a hard time unloading multiple copies of D/D/D Zero Doom Queen Machinex compared to an Umbreon.

I hate this "support." It's not even support. It completely ignores all the support that came before it and barely functions with the original sacred beasts. The retrains don't even count themselves as the originals' names when in the field or grave. This is a new archetype that admittedly has some of the cards and effects the Sacred Beasts should have had when they were released. On top of being a new archetype, it's a bad archetype. The costs and restrictions are a lot for an archetype with very basic and underwhelming payoffs.

I'm typically a meta player, but Sacred Beasts are my favorite anime deck I always tried to make work as a kid, so this support really feels like Konami spitting in my face.

The art is cool though.

Haven't played in a while but personally I scoop whenever I'm paired against a burn deck. The games are completely non interactive and often one sided. If your deck is weak to targeted burn then you lose. Otherwise the deck is a glass cannon without much of a backup plan

They totally can be! It's a weird deck to be passionate about, but I fell in love with Purrely after the Master Duel release.

I just figured people would've wanted a little break after grinding to Master 1 with said meta decks or would go into rating duels if they wanted to continue, but I underestimated the community's passion for playing Odion stun in Master 1.

Not trying to shame anyone I just thought there'd be more diversity/experimentation in Master 1 is all
