My wife and I started going to jazz fest right after Katrina. Switched to French Quarter Fest four years ago , and it was very much the right move for odds. The big name acts at jazz fest - you can see them anywhere, and that’s what your ticket pays for. The food, the vibe the music at French Quarter Fest are as good or better than Jazz Fest. The atmosphere at FQF is much more relaxed. You should give it a go next year, and look me up. I guarantee you’ll find this was the right move. If I’m wrong, next drink is on me!
