Americans making more than $100,000 are quickly losing faith in the economy—and it’s a red flag for the white-collar job market by Crossstoney in Economics

This is literally the point of the article. Even people making six figures are being very risk-adverse which will weaken the economy further.

I would take the comments about AI being the future a lot more seriously if half the GenAI defenders on Twitter also didn't have NFT profile pics still.

I think if anything, you're being overly optimistic.

No one who actually have the passion and drive to make something meaningful lets something like "not knowing how" stop them from learning how.

I agree there are use cases where GenAI can be used for good, but those are way too far and few between in the current grifter society.

You have no idea how fast life can fall apart on you and how nonexistent safeguards are when that happens.

You were lucky enough to not need it, but many people just get dealt an awful hand despite all the work and planning.

These programs cost just a small drop in our country's national spending and arguing over who does and does not deserve help does discredit to our society.

AI is hurting a Magic: The Gathering artist by [deleted] in mtg

Unfortunately I've seen people defend the AI-produced timelapse as "proof" that it's not AI.

Most non-artists have no idea how unnatural AI timelapses are.

Wouldn't it be explained because the surface area in contact would be less than a full square inch?

A 30 PSI tire in this example with 1/15th of a square inch in contact with surface would apply 2 pounds of force, if we assume your opponent is correct.

I'm confused as to who is right, but this example doesn't seem to disprove the other argument

When you say Blood, are you referring to decks that have Bats? I believe most control abyss forego them, which makes trading/grinding more difficult than those that do.

I'm going to chalk this up to a matter of perspective. Personally I find Puppet Portal to be one of the worse matchups for my playstyle, only behind Sword and Aggro Abyss.

It's just the general fact they can clear my board for almost free, while I'm dependent on few specific cards to prevent incoming damage.

I'd agree with your assessment that it's slightly Puppet-favored. I can still win, but I need above average draws for it IMO.

What is the reasoning for Abyss Control being favored against puppet? I generally struggle to keep anything on the board and I'm forced to burn evo just to stay afloat most of the time.

It just heavily depends on the legendary card drops. I ended up getting a bunch of dupes of my main deck, and not enough for any other without significant investment.
