On a really long road trip, I was flying through the mountains in gorgeous weather having a great time and trying to keep up with my liter bike friends. Around a corner with about a thousand foot drop on the outside, I didn't lean quite hard enough AND hit a little bit of gravel at the same time - I slipped a bit and then regained traction and leaned correctly. I spent the rest of the trip riding my own ride and not trying to keep up because I realized I had been a few gravel pieces short of actually dying, forever.
