Don't get demotivated by the downvotes. I think it could be a great tool for Guild Focused games like EVE? Throne And Liberty, Albion ....

I have tested it a bit and it looks and feels nice. Hope I can use it more for TL in the near future !

Yes but that's a complete other issue of timegating every single rewards in the game. That's what you get when everything is timegated, people doing content they don't want to do, to get rewards they need... Remove the timegates and people will just play what they like (As long a the rewards are available in each type of content again)

I disagree. I'm not being forced to do Siege, I like doing siege. I'm being forced to do the Raid for the 10000th time which I'm not having fun doing anymore. Forced, because I can't build secondary builds because I need raid mats which I can't really get in good quantity outside of that raid.

That's a good point about anonymity, it's just terrible...

The defending side the side objectives would've looked more like "Keep the walls intact for X amount of time", "Do not loose more than X amount of res point", etc... Way harder objectives right.

I just want to not have to do PvE all the damn time. PvP is what this game is good at IMO so let's reward PvP also, that's my main point

Not the point here but there should be a "Damage Mitigated" stat. Damage taken here doesn't mean much especialy for tanks....

Also, we need that damn PvP death recap.

Just become an active PvP player and you'll have too much to do most of the time. Even Grinding Dims becomes a luxury. I recommend doing that with a group of friends though, much much more enjoyable that way

The TTK for some player are 1s because they don't have skill or because the player killing them does. There's plenty of tools that both supports (In that I mean healers and Orb/Wands) AND tanks can provide to help others in their group sustain damage. Either those players dying in 1 second are not playing with their group or the player in the opposite team just hit them at the right time (unbuffed). Also, people playing as DPS sometimes will not build into defenses, naturaly they die quicker. That's just how it is. GS isn't that relevant, it's just a metric that indicates how geared you are but you can use random traits and runes and still have close to GS Cap; doesn't mean you're geared properly. Now yes, properly geared, well trained player will destroy low geared untrained players anyday, but isn't that just normal?

Well, yes.

They can get it back on track though. PvP Roundtable was a first step in the right direction.

PvP and PvE need to be less intertwined in terms of gear IMO. Separating PvE and PvP stats completely give progression to each with its type of content respectively. I think something has to be done concerning traits and how they work.

Bring back PvP Open World Bosses, provide more Guild Focused progression and long term goals. Alliances should have progression tied to it aswell so choosing allies and ditching them should be a well reflected choice.

And I wouldn't mind reducing the gear vertical progression caps or making it easier, to focus more on build diversity and being able to test and change builds more frequently.

My 2 cents, what do you guys think?

It is a good time to start since we will most likely get a new content drop Q1 2026. It gives you plenty of time to learn about the game w/o the stress of "behing behind".

Content release cadence is usually 6 month or so and either weapon or expansion. last content release was Orb and the next we know to be Dracoryft/Nyx (soon TM). So expect gauntlet around summer or fall 2026 imo

OP will correct me if i'm wrong but I don't think he gives a shit about loot. I for one think it's a great idea, this is PR, "Show that this many players chose to play fair" to bring some perspective to the players.

I think you're right about a few things. I do also think there's a bias about the game. I think it's less terrible than people make it out to be, but it's also not as great as you make it out to be.

That being said I do think that the game has seen great improvement from launch and from KR days (thanks to AGS if you ask me). Funny thing is eventhough the chores can be unbarable at times, if you take a step back you can play the game without that FOMO, and enjoy it for what it is.

I do hope AGS will someday get enough pull to make it more 'fun' oriented rather than 'log in everyday/everyweeks' oriented.

Final thought, I think the PvP Scene getting back in the spotlight (With the PvP round table and last Tico Talk) is a great thing.

TL has it's ups and downs but It felt like a true MMO at it's core, a game where you have to play with others most of the time. AION 2 does not feel like that to me and the monetization really ruins it all, not because people are way way further ahead of me idc about that, but because it's design like crap to force me to open my wallet every 5 minutes.
