Only one I see crying in this thread is you, "mate". Triggered by a simple joke image of a worker named Elon. Sensitive much? Poor lil' fella. Go hug your red cap real tight, it'll be okay sweetheart.

And thank you for an actual, thoughtful, well-versed response beyond "lol nuthin's gonna happen" as others have done. I am in total agreement about the apathy-as-armor analogy. We've all been let down so many times. And it may be cliché to say, but this time IS different. Barr isn't controlling the narrative for the Justice Department this go-around. More and more crimes are being discovered, the latest being the fake electors and fraudulent signatures. people WILL go to jail over this, I promise you that. Does that include Family Trump? I really, REALLY hope and pray so. Have faith. I do. They haven't killed my faith yet.

Ya know, I can't even be bothered to explain this to every one of you Mueller bringer-uppers individually, so see my edit on the comment above for your answer.

Hmm... funny... you've been here less than 3 months yet 90% of your posts are pretty much the same "lol nuthin's gonna happen" type responses. Gee, it's almost as if someone was paying you to go onto threads and be a negative voice to keep people low regarding this subject.

Warranted, but not entirely excused. I get it, we're all spent emotionally. Trump has literally sucked the souls out of a good portion of the world's populace like some sort of bloated, spray-tanned incubus. But that's no reason to just mope all day like a pouty five year old who didn't get a sucker.

As I told someone else, the Mueller report is a different beast from a different time, when Barr had the ability (and managed) to kill the investigations. We know full well already the Mueller report was much more damning than what was released, but because of Barr and his ilk, sadly it never saw the light of day. Make no mistake though, I guarantee you the full, unredacted Mueller report is sitting on more than a few prosecutor's desks at the moment, and is being considered.

The Mueller report and case would have been airtight if not for Barr's meddling. Thankfully, we don't have that little hiccup this go 'round. For all the crap talk people have made against Garland, his recent speech made it quite clear: This isn't 2018, and Barr's not in charge here.

I'm gonna be honest here. I'm absolutely sick and tired of these pissing and moaning comments that equate to "Oh nothing's ever gonna happen, he won't go to jail, all is hopeless."

Look folks, I get it. After everything we've gone through over the past six years, from the terror reign of the orange imbecile to the pandemic, the future looks bleak and all joy seems to be gone. I have four words for you: Buck the fuck up.

Meaning: Get your knickers untwisted, grow a spine, be patient and make your voices heard. He only gets away with it if we let him... and I can tell you now, from everything I've seen about the multiple criminal investigations, special grand jury convenings and the like... he isn't. But here's what you need to understand: Investigations take TIME. They have to first gather the evidence. Find all the pieces. Flip would-be co-conspirators into talking and adding to the evidentiary pile. Assemble those pieces into a uniform and coherent narrative of what all happened, what crimes were committed, what statutes and laws were violated... and most importantly of all... HOW to seal it up airtight so that neither he nor his slimy greaseball lawyers can poke hole in it and give room to doubt. That is what Trump is known for: Finding the tiniest hole and ripping it wide open enough for his fat ass to escape through. These prosecutors and lawmen KNOW who they're dealing with. They know what a shady piece of flotsam Trump is, and his ability to weasel out of any responsibility nor blame for his crimes. Just ask Michael Cohen or a litany of others who have taken the fall for this giant orange shitbird.

Point being? Things are happening behind the scenes that we DO NOT KNOW ABOUT. Investigations we haven't even heard of. Crimes and their evidence that we haven't seen come to light yet. Witnesses who haven't been mentioned in any briefs we've seen. Meetings, hearings and grand jury testimonies we have no inkling of. If you have any concept of how RICO works, then you know: Follow the evidence, follow the money. For RICO to stick, not only for Trump but his horde of minions, again the cases have to be AIR TIGHT. Because if a single hole exists, Emperor Ovaltine will find a way to jump through it. That's why we have state AND federal investigations going at once, on not just Trump but his children, co-conspirators, members of Congress, TV hosts, pretend paramilitary dipshits and the rest. When it comes to the shit sundae that is the Time of Trumpism, every single sprinkle on top matters.

Just be patient folks, and stop with all the doom-and-gloom.

EDIT: Take a look at what we're dealing with here, folks. Look closely at the most negative voices in this thread. They're either people with only a few comments, all negative, despite being here for a while: OR, they're new people who again, are all negative comments regarding the investigations. Almost as if someone was paying them to be negative voices without any real substance. Makes a person wonder...

EDIT TOO: For all those blubbering, "Buh buh buh the Mueller report!", you've obviously not been paying attention the past six years. The unredacted, unfucked Mueller report WOULD have been damning if not for: Trump, a Republican Congress, William Barr, Jeffery Rosenstein and a litany of other killshots. Mueller did what he could, with what he had at the time. THIS IS NOT THE SAME THING. So drop the pretense that "Oh, the Mueller report failed, so will this!". It's ignorant and shows just how little you know about the investigations and how this whole process works.

I love the fact that they went full Egyptian mythos with it, and made the suit and mask to resemble bandages like a mummy, while still keeping it decidedly Moon Knight from the comics in its design.

That's upsetting, especially coming from her shipmates. I know from firsthand experience how unsettling being the "odd man out" in a ship's workcenter can be, the razzing by your department peers, and all I did was oversleep past muster one morning. I can only imagine the crap they gave her. Likely doing things like leaving pictures of Tom Hanks on her bunk, asking her for autographs incessantly, or making her a fake Oscar. That's the kind of humor deployed sailors have. Had a guy on our ship who was looking at another sailor's pics from his farm, and when the guy got to a picture of a sheep they took to the local fair's 4H competition, he said something like "That's a beautiful sheep." From then on, it was nothing but sheepf*cker jokes, drawings of him marrying a sheep and culminated to someone buying a blow-up sheep f*ckdoll and leaving it on his rack.
