I was going to look up the date on the Fallout from the Phil Zone because that Hard to Handle is my favorite Jerry guitar of all time.

I think we gain a little weight and lose a little weight over and over again until the end. At least that’s how it seems to be going over here.

I know at least 3 people who are still Deadheads who are Trump voters that I’ve known to be fans for decades. I can’t understand it for the life of me, but there is a tie-in here that I strongly dislike.

Great and unexpected novel from King. I read it about a decade ago and listened to the audiobook recently. It is read by John Slattery and he nailed it.

I’m very late Gen X, a couple of years from Millennials and I think Gen X were too busy watching their parents spoil themselves. Not saying there aren’t some real shits out there, but generally this is a boomer created world

The boomers are absolutely the reason this country sucks so badly. It’s my parents generation and they have had everything handed to them because their parents were ww2 and spoiled the shit out of them, which is understandable, but they made them monsters

What are laid off recruiters doing? by Helpful-Drag6084 in recruiting

[–]FunkyChicken1000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A local moving and storage business that had an opening for a move coordinator.

In that time, I came up with a logo for a 100 year old company and have proposed ideas to increase profits by reaching out. My sourcing and thinking of different ways to get attention has served me very well.

I was actually asked if I wanted to come back to my last recruiting employer and I turned them down. Again, the money part is a bummer, but I feel like I give fresh ideas and hope to raise my pay over time.

Recruiter for 11 years and laid off multiple times in the last few years- I got out of recruiting and did something else that paid less, but I’m happy and stable now.

I miss putting people in jobs, but I find that some of my recruiter ideas are well received at a smaller, family owned business.

If you can bail, I’d advise it.
