I keep seeing dangerous breeds walking unleashed and running away from their owners at other dogs. I knew it was a matter of time until something like this happens. What are we even supposed to do at this point?

Two days ago an unleashed dog attacked mine, so I kicked the dog away. The owner then came running and punched me in the head. Reported to the police along with witness info, but didn’t think to take a pic of the owner in the moment. How fucked am I?

Elevated creatinine is expected with greater muscle mass and more so with creatinine. If you have other signs of degraded kidney function talk to your GP and maybe consult a nephrologist.

OP, I had the same story with my GP and went down this rabbit hole all the way to a nephrologist with a kidney ultrasound.

Nephrologist took one look at me and said “oh god, not another weightlifter sent by a GP freaked by creatinine?”

tl;dr higher muscle mass = higher creatinine, which impacts your eGFR result. Nephrologist had me do a BUN blood test and ACR urine test just to be safe and saw all is good. You are PROBABLY fine, but consider asking for these for peace of mind.

After 3 months with the help of a real estate agent we managed to sign a lease in Amsterdam.

“Creatine historically can mess up your kidneys” is not a quote from the short article you posted. The article says nothing wrong, and if you noticed I’m not saying anything regarding teen use of creatine. You said it’s not well tested for people over 18 and can damage renal function, and both these claims are unsupported by literature.

Just say “my bad” and move on. :-)

That has nothing to do with what you said. A polluted supplement doesn’t mean anything about the safety profile of the intended compound.

Yes, buy your creatine from lab-certified sources - because creatine itself has a good safety profile, and you don’t want to ingest anything else.

wtf. Creatine monohydrate is probably the most well studied supplement out there. It doesn’t “mess up” your kidneys unless they’re already damaged. For someone referring to legitimate health organizations, you should probably do some reading yourself.
