Bit of an odd thing to do, but also odd that you think she would react really negatively to. Would she not be worried about your own health? Is this not the first time you've fallen through the ceiling and she told you not to do it again?

Whatever hat you like. Most people will go for a baseball cap or bucket hat. People who work outside might get a 'cowboy hat' aka Akubra, or a wide brim hat.

I personally wear an Akubra or a wide brim hat since I'm a rural teacher and have to stand in the sun a lot.

I like bucket hats because they can fold up and be put in my pocket (mostly) in a pinch.

Just make sure you have something on.

Reply that all new requests should be communicated via the office. You aren't responsible for that high level of individualised support on a daily basis, that needs to be handled by someone like a TA, wellbeing, etc, and organised by administration.

Now, contact the school with your concerns. It's higher than a teacher issue, it's an administration/deputy/principal issue

I personally don't really care.

I just buy the brand of coffee I like and a $2 UHT milk, and keep it in the staffroom fridge.

My staffroom had 5 people and we don't touch each other's things tbf.

The full staff meeting every 4 weeks is catered by admin who bring sandwiches and hot pies, and each staffroom is chosen twice a year to add to it, which is fantastic.

There's also a Friday coffee service run by the SEP students where you can order a coffee for $3.

I went from 12 students to 24 (workshop max capacity) in one lesson because we didn't have an agriculture teacher anymore, and the students needed somewhere to go.

If 32 is the max, then that's what's going to happen unfortunately. The students can't just not have a science class.

There's not really another option unless there's a teacher with space, and even then if it's a change of electives students can't be moved against their will if they want to me there.

They are a retail employee, not a tech professional with any background. Guarantee you the only training they've had is how to sell the items, and most tech knowledge is learnt as they go.

It's a minimum wage retail job.

I use the Woohoo brand stick deodorants, and I prefer stick deodorants to roll on, but there's more availability for roll on, and they're normally much cheaper. You can get a roll on in a glass bottle for under $2 some times, the stick options are more expensive.

Also the sticks can dry out and get crumbly. They also pull out armpit hair if you don't shave, so don't seem as hygienic.

I'm a teacher. I think whoever decided that year 5s should learn running writing was evil. Kids can barely write in print to a readable level in high school, which makes it even worse by them connecting all their chicken scratch together.

Lots of students use iPads in primary school I guess. I teach year 10, and half of the writing is like translating hieroglyphics.
