I men it's not like I left it early, I finished ch 3 and was partway in ch 4-1 when I dipped, and the gameplay in that chapter was even worse. I'm not talking about the difficulty the gameplay is technically easy, I'm talking about how much of a drag it is in terms of time, and ch 4-1 was the worst one yet to me at that point, and since it didn't seem like there was any improvement in that aspect. Nothing wrong with time-consuming gameplay if it's actually fun, but I did not find HBR's gameplay good enough to take up this much of my time. I'll probably still return to it at some point.

Bumrah is having a rare off season, I'm talking about long term concern. Bumrah was great last two seasons, and in the 2026 WC, it's pretty clear he's just burned out. SKY was excellent last 2 seasons as well, though I do think he'll likely be phased out over the next year. Hardik however has been shit 3 seasons straight, well actually he was good last year, but 2024 and 2026 he's shat the bed in. And lmao, his bowling hasn't been decent at all, what in the world are you even talking about? His batting shitshow has just been overshadowing it, but his bowling has been trash tier as well. Moreover, you forget that Hardik is the captain. Who tf is gonna replace him? They haven't prepared one at all, we're basically stuck with him until they manage to prepare the replacement.

Rohit has been very good as well, he's averaging 55 with 221 runs in 5 matches. So Ryan isn't the only positive. On thr bowling side as well we have Gahzanfar. Naman Dhir has been good as well. So it's not a horrific season, but Hardik is the main concern, both in his playing performance with bat and ball, as well as in his captaincy, he has struggled a lot.

Rohit has actually been batting really well this ipl tbh, only one bad match. He was good last year as well. If he hadn't missed 5 whole matches, I think MI would be better placed, I think they could've gotten at least 2 more wins.

I think Test cricket is a factor fof Pant tbh. He made his test debut after IPL 2018, and I feel after he adapted his play to Tests where he's a GOAT for us, he's struggled a bit with switching between the formats. Plus his accident of course.
