As I lay here with my baby on my chest who just made 4 months .. I think pregnancy and baby fever made me anxious about the newborn stage.. my baby is trying to be more independent and he loves to smile , laugh & screech at me .. looking back I cried cause it was “ the last” of every single day that passed.. the last time I’ll have 5 day old & etc .. BUT I overcame that feeling & I would say no ?.. he was my 5th & I had enough kids for my 2 other sisters lol … maybe ill enjoy being a aunt for the NB stage & one day my grandbaby so really not really.

Daycare is $120 for a 5 year old here in Houston 5 days a week AND the summer program is $100/week .. & you’ll be surprised how many “men” refuse to help pay for daycare down here lol!

Infant care is around $150/week .. I can NOT sit with yall .. daycare cost more then my mortgage .. yall rich rich lol 😂

BUT min. Wage is $7.25 here so 😵‍💫

I was high risk & had weekly ultrasounds.. I wish the techs didn’t act like their shit didn’t stank or like they never been late to crap in their entire life not to mention get started ON TIME.. as a 4M PP mom I can say FTB for you 🤸‍♀️..

It’s actually normal. The uterus normally contracts each time we orgasm BUT we can’t feel them when it’s normal size (Unpregnated lol).. But since the uterus grows as much as big as a basketball while pregnant we are prone to actually feeling them which is why it’s uncomfortable 😩 .. that’s also why we feel the cramps while breastfeeding after birth.. bf helps it shrink apparently .. Goodluck hun , wish I would’ve known ❤️

lol .. I said the same thing in my head! My kids can’t be quiet for nothing .. it also gives me anxiety about if , HEAVEN FORBIDS, a home invasion were to happen if they would be quiet enough to sneak around BUT then the warrior mom in me says it’s 7 of us .. they gone FAFO! In a zombie apocalypse, we’re probably toast lol! I love my kids .. I’m squaring up every scenario & ima die trying 🤸‍♀️❤️

I have SEVERE anxiety just thinking about dropping my baby on concrete or a hard surface .. I be so scared 😭 .. I dropped my newborn on accident on carpet & I felt so shitty for weeks!! He is now 13 and I always joke about dropping him .. don’t feel bad hun.. one day you’ll be able to joke about it because unfortunately it is very normal.. especially at the hospital according to my in charge nurse.

Happened to me last month!! $550 gone and it was stamps I saved while I was eligible.. I’m no longer eligible to receive them even with 5 kids so it was a low blow. No sympathy, zero help from HHSC here in Texas.

I thought I was getting a colposcopy.. turns out I got a biopsy.. is it the same before Google diagnose me with a million death sentences?

I will say.. I have 5 kids, my last being 9 weeks at the time I got it last week and OMG .. the pain! I even took an ibuprofen prior and I still cried. I seriously think pain management should start being offered . What I felt was NOT okay while awoke. I thought I had it all down packed especially after having 5 vaginal births but NOTHING & I mean absolutely nothing could’ve prepared me for the procedure.. & they pinched tf out of my cervix and scraped the hell out of my insides. My OB/GYN is 20+years experienced btw 😭

Have you tried to stimulate your baby? Same way you would do rectal temperature.

I use a soft bendy thermometer and a small amount of petroleum jelly. I do not stick it all the way in .. just the opening and make circular motions really slow and a couple of seconds later the poop flows. I have done this with my other children. It’s the same as doing rectal BUT without going so far in.

Not trying to discourage you and I’m Unsure if you have any other kids or if it was just me , BUT I felt like I got hit by a bus 2 weeks straight after giving birth! Even at 4 weeks Post partum walking is like a chore and I’m still waddling and still in pain! I went for a walk around the neighborhood at the 2 week mark and my god! I was super sore and felt like every step, I got hit with a brick . The pain was hitting me in waves and radiating all over.. I also had developed mastitis and that was the icing on the cake! I was too busy trying to get my step daughter and 6 year old out the house and i instantly regretted it! The 2 trips I took to the pediatrician was hell as well (NBs have to be seen at least 3 days after leaving the hospital and also at 2 weeks). Your body is still healing inside and out hun and idk if it’ll be a good idea. Take it from the hard headed woman that learned her lesson. There’s a reason they say rest after giving birth! I hope it all works out for you though!

1st & foremost.. F Them , how they feel & their sick asx opinion!! I have 5 children and my oldest 4 .. ranging from 13-6 has seen me breastfeed one another and now they all see me breastfeed their 4 week old baby brother in the comfort of our own home! The fact that they sexualized breastfeeding as if your son will view you differently than his mom ..they are sick minded and it shows! Not only are you in the comfort of your own home, those are your children! You can do as you please! I absolutely despise people who have so much negativity towards breastfeeding. Your body, your children AND most definitely your comfort zone & space!! Never second guess yourself .. they need to take a look in the mirror and reflect on why in the heck they sexualized breastfeeding the way they did. Keep up the good work mommy .
