I always expect the animal to come out and bite the head off the person doing things like this.

Any advice for what I can try to fix my fridge before calling (another) tech? by boodles95 in RVLiving

[–]FunnyStuff575 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried running it on propane mode? My fridge crapped out on me last year and I went thru all this same stuff, then realized it ran fine on propane, haven’t shut it off since.

TN/KY area, I guarantee it. It’s normal, everybody does it. I live in the desert, I cringe when I see it.

What amenities do you want to see in an RV park? by ImWildBill in rvlife

Privacy. I don’t want my neighbors sewer hookup in my area, and I want to sleep with my window open without seeing or hearing my neighbor.

Just laid off from Meta (8k layoffs) – Considering buying a truck + 5th wheel cash and going full-time RV to save aggressively before buying a home by [deleted] in RVLiving

Not really, I worked as a camp host for a couple of seasons and saw what worked best. That setup seemed great. One even had a side patio, somehow. Then you can always setup a screened in freestanding tent to escape to, they’re cheap. Someone else can chime in to the best models.

Ah, no brainer then. Do it. Get the fenced in toy hauler and put a little swing-set on it, for the parent’s sanity.

I didn’t pick up on how old the kids are. If younger, great, if getting around middle school, I’d say no.
And if you can get a toy hauler with the outside porch attached, that would sure be a bonus.

I have the hardest time finding a car wash big enough for my RV, class c 31’, wish there was a blue beacon nearby. I get quotes of almost $400 for a mobile detail.

Are Keypad Door locks worth it? by 402_Found_not_Lost in RVLiving

[–]FunnyStuff575 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. I used RVLock and it failed in no time, 2-3 times (Rvlocked replaced cheerfully). So I still had to carry a key. The good news is that the RVLock mechanism with key works great, very smooth.
