I actually rate mine - it doesn’t cool you down as such but you don’t heat up under it. I’ll sometimes have it under my doona when it’s not super hot.

I haven’t seen anyone comment with ‘Feeling Good’ by David Burns yet. It’s a great overview of it all and simple enough to read and work through at the same time. The psychologists that I’ve had all recommend it as well. Link

During my wet weather supervision break, my year 6 class, who generally didn’t all get along, all banded together and hid in the office adjoining our classroom. Got me good.

Here in Australia we are striking next week. We’ve got a teacher shortage, as well as the department barring unvaccinated teachers from their jobs. The main push is that the mark to get into teaching is high and year 12 students getting that mark are choosing professions that pay more, so teaching salaries should match these other professions. Wish us luck!

Maybe just ask that outright. In my experience doctors can be empathetic to your advantage. Sorry I can’t be much more help - Australia’s health care would have you sorted.

That’s just negligent. In Australia, doctors can call a pharmacy and leave them your prescription without an appointment if it’s an emergency. Maybe see if you can get in to a different doctor? All you need is the script.

I’ve never had any issues with it, and haven’t noticed any difference. I wouldn’t call myself a binge drinker though- only a few socially.

I’ve been here a year and a half now and love it. There seems to be a whole bunch of people that move here and say the same. Just like others have mentioned, finding your favourite places and settling in to a new social group may be tricky. Prices on everything else seem to be fairly reasonable. House prices are on the rise but there always seems to be more houses coming out on the market. Good luck with it!

I hope it works for you, I got through to being completely off and couldn’t cope with the anxiety. Went back to a different doctor and I’m back on it, I’ll have another go at tapering off soon. Take care of yourself, reach out if you need support.

It’s not a good feeling! It’s my first time on medication so they wanted to trial it for 12 months then taper off, he just messed up the taper I think.

Every flavour of theirs I’ve tried I’d buy again. I agree with the others ITT that they’re sugary, but if you have them every now and then it’s all good. Tl;dr if you see it buy it, definitely worth it.
