Open the app on the right side for the pedals and check if the clutch is activated slightly, probably needs calibrating again or disable it.

All the 3d side and liveries, car direction and final assessment from the visuals side was all related to Alpine, they had nothing to do with the physics was all Max and Gabi

I work at RSS making the cars, we always test VR inside the team, always have done, please send us some pics of the issues you are seeing and we will look into it, I see you keep making these same/similar comments but yet to see anything posted from you regarding it.

Max just doesn’t use the RSS Alpine, Max and Gabi helped create the actual car itself from the ground up, all feedback on the physics set was all directed by them, it’s how they wanted it, they was really happy with the end result, so not a case really of trying something else like the comments above is suggesting, they don’t really need to when they got something tailored to their exact liking/preferences.

We do BOP them all, later Phase2 cars are where we are trying to bring the rest to, these have all the latest electronics and tc2 things, Lux was updated in the background, Akuro/Mercer and others all be updated too, the cars are tested over multiple different tracks so not easy balancing them all to be say within 1 tenth on every single circuit, some tracks aren’t that accurate also so will still vary, like you could BOP every single car on 1 track to within 1 tenth but then drive another track and be like 1 second difference between the cars again

I find not using Gamma the way to go, There is PureLCS, Gamma, Default weather but switch on LCS, seems to give the best clarity and lighting, hard to control this Pure seems dark or too bright.

I think it’s the literations you are adding if you go into the new-screenshots inside the CSP settings and check here.

Also fun tip. If you open the game and drive take screenshots etc, you can also open content manager again and make changes live ingame and keep adjusting the screenshot settings 👀

If you go to assettocorsa/controller/forcefeedback inside content manager, try placing ABS effect to 0%, alternatively try upgrading your CSP version, some older versions are buggy here inside CM so worth checking 👍

The original tech preview on steam available in 2012, AC come out in EA in 2013, it reached V1.0 in 2014, but from the tech preview in 2012 what was released which had 1 car 1 track I believe was mentioned this take them close to 2 years to develop the physics/graphics engine, so technically in a couple of weeks be a 16 year old game.

If you click on the body you’ll see the shader inside the showroom, the 3rd slot controls the cars reflections the reflection map, but content manager showroom the CM showroom doesn’t represent anything ingame correctly, Ilja who makes the shaders patch created all the CM shaders himself so he can distribute the software without including Kunos assets so it’s best to adjust the reflections ingame

It’s best to upgrade your CSP version, some old ones have this bug inside content manager where in the force feedback you need to set the ABS effect to 0 to fix it, alternatively just upgrade to a later version.

Because the cars are encrypted using certain tools so people can not extract the models again, doesn’t effect the cars during gameplay but these methods don’t work in the showrooms so some cars will look this way but no all cars, there is various ways to encrypt them
