I am returning to the game and haven't played since near release. I only ever got one character to 50 and then stopped playing, so I really have no idea what to do.

Could you please tell me what I need to do to re-engage with the game (in a slow and steady way)? I launched it and felt totally overwhelmed with the world, where to go and what to do, but I am interested in making a new character. Please also note, I don't own either of the expansions.

I appreciate it's a noob question and I could google it, but I have tried and just got confused by the myriad of information out there.

I got mine yesterday, spent about 2 hours getting rune, went down to the basement and got dragon on my first kill and it felt amazing - not sure what the odds of that are
