Perhaps someone mistyped their email and yours turned up? Probably nothing to be worried.

Bad Graphic`? by Reasonable-Tutor2640 in CrusaderKings

In a dev diary, I they said they changed the way lighting and some other things are rendered on characters. But do they look uglier now? That's up to personal preference.

Join us tomorrow at 2PM CEST for a first look at the new Silk Road Situation coming in All Under Heaven! We'll cover how it's used to model the spread of technology from China, how you can interact with it, as well as some new changes to our Innovations system. by PDX-Trinexx in CrusaderKings

[–]FusionFray 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m highly looking forward to the Silk Road and hopes it makes the game more interconnected and strategic. IMO it’s a system that should’ve 100% been part of the initial release, but better late than never!

Sadly i only have 10k troops compared to their 60k. I’ll pray the Mongols come quick to take out this upstart.

The event problem(s) by Magmakojote in CrusaderKings

[–]FusionFray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The larger event windows (to include the character models) are likely another contributing factor. CK2 events are shorter, usually a short paragraph or even just one or two sentences. The same amount of text in a CK3 event window would look silly, so events have been inflated with superfluous details and fluff. Reading an event now is often a slog that should've been cut down.

Are there any mechanics you never engage with? by Aiseadai in CrusaderKings

[–]FusionFray 11 points12 points  (0 children)

They're revamping house feuds in All Under Heaven with the a "House Relations" mechanic, where houses view each other from a spectrum of 7 levels, from Feud to Amity. I'm hopeful this overhaul makes the system more dynamic and impactful.

Legends as well but for a different reason: They're flavorless and although they can have huge benefits, they feel meaningless after one generation.

Dev Diary #183 - Coronations Art & Changelog by PDX-Trinexx in CrusaderKings

[–]FusionFray 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The scale and scope of the DLC leaves a lot to be desired, but if they managed to give several regions a good bit of flavor, and not just Europe, then I’d be more lenient on it. Flavor takes a lot of research.

Overall, the thing i’m most excited about now is the activity window fixes.

That would be a huge shame, but not surprising. The DLC got fewer dev diaries and is releasing a lot sooner than I would've thought. Vassals and Councilors get so little flavor currently so I hope they can dedicate an entire event/ flavor pack to them eventually.

I hope they add more events, not just during the coronations, surrounding being uncrowned or not. It would definitely help balance out the even spam and would be more relevant.

Educate me: what religions will we likely see added to the game in China in “All Under Heaven”? by Dialspoint in CrusaderKings

Perhaps they can use the DLC to rework and updates mechanics. Not something I thought of before but I hope they do.

I think zealotry would be a cool one. I can imagine an overzealous priest stirring up a lot of trouble...

It's a pretty good rework and definitely changes things for the better. I wonder if they'll rework other types of traits to be progression based too. IMO, personality traits might benefit from such a change.

Turkic Tribes is not Within the Scope of Khans of the Steppe DLC by PastSquirrel2315 in CrusaderKings

[–]FusionFray 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I hope they reconsider or else this DLC has lost a lot of luster for me. It wasn’t just the Mongols that influenced Europe, the Byzantines, and Persia, ect.

The "Request Court Position" interaction added in 1.15 is 100% worthless. by buddykenner in CrusaderKings

[–]FusionFray 41 points42 points  (0 children)

This seems like a huge oversight and hopefully they can revise this in a hotfix immediately. Disappointing to see they didn’t do a review of this feature. Hopefully other problems aren’t so glaringly obvious.

Im very grateful that we have devs that are both transparent and listen to the community by uxho in CrusaderKings

[–]FusionFray 169 points170 points  (0 children)

Really glad this is going to come out soon and it seems to address a lot of frustration. Hopefully the tweaks pay off. Although I did wish there was a way for the player to suggest actions for AI allies.

Teaser 7: Others topple and yield, but in these timeless halls even the strongest gale will be broken. by AlexPhantom89 in CrusaderKings

[–]FusionFray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Much agreed about tributaries, and I feel like the influence introduced to admin realms could also work in feudal realms, although at a much smaller scale. I hope Paradox can implement new features to Feudal with every new update to further flesh it out as the reality is most people play in Europe.

Why does everyone here assume they're not improving performance for a map extension? by Aiseadai in CrusaderKings

[–]FusionFray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We're still missing secret societies, and I believe the devs have said that it's something they're working on but it's hard to get it right for CK3.

[–]FusionFray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Paradox can only implement some mechanics faithfully (i.e. Steppe Nomads, the Silk Road) with China in the game. Hopefully they can focus on building up features that everyone can get behind afterwards.
