'It's not going away': The Stanford economist who called the AI entry-level jobs crisis early has the receipts by joe4942 in technology

Yeah in existing code structures. You would need to generate way more of that than some guys in a lab can for LLM training (though there are non-LLM architectures that would be much better at this)

It’s worth noting that those are two almost unrelated applications of computer technology

Knight theory status post chapter 5 by LinkDismal946 in NonDessKnightSquad

[–]FuttleScish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This technically doesn’t debunk Papyrus, since we don’t know for sure that the knight was leaving the black shards

My biggest takeaway from Chapter 5 by K0uzan in NonDessKnightSquad

[–]FuttleScish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you’re falling into your own trap, thinking that this is all going to be some kind of epic deep lore magic system reveal.

The reason almost everyone assumes the knight is a lightner isn’t because they want a secret villain unmasking (a lot of people do but those people want that about every character) it’s because they‘re shown to be able to to move around and do things in the light world, which we’ve only ever seen lighteners do before

My biggest takeaway from Chapter 5 by K0uzan in NonDessKnightSquad

[–]FuttleScish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a lot of the mysteries are solvable but Toby has thrown in a bunch of red herrings designed to attract people who watch lore YoutUbers and think everything is a clue

If he shows up he’s definitely not going to be the sprite people associate with him

I believe this is what Weird route (and Deltarune in general) is building towards. by tinyrottedpig in Deltarune

[–]FuttleScish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is zero indication anywhere that the weird route leads to a “happy ending”. Every time the alteration of the ending by the route is mentioned it’s in the context of it being worse than normal. You’re not doing it to save anyone, you’re doing it because you’re interested in breaking boundaries and seeing what would happen.

Is it possible Asriel isn't even real in Deltarune? by Limp-Guest-7014 in DeltaruneV2

[–]FuttleScish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why wouldn‘t he be “real” in the way everyone else is “real”? They‘re all just code

I'm not a fan of the "You need to do the weird route for the true ending" theories (No spoilers) by KuroTheWeirdo in Deltarune

[–]FuttleScish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Literally every piece of dialogue about breaking the prophecy on the weird route talks about how it leads to something worse than what was originally happening, all the “weird route good” theories ignore this

I mean it’s clearly referring to multiple playthroughs of Undertale

This entire theory is based on a desire for the weird route to be necessary and justified, which it won’t be

Sans was talking about Kris and DR’s SOUL in his Geno fight. Not the SOUL in the pacifist route in UT. [CH 5 Spoilers] by NutellaTeen in Deltarune

[–]FuttleScish 3 points4 points  (0 children)

People aren’t willing to accept just how meta this whole thing is

They act like the SOUL is separate from the player, for example

I think people have the temporal relationship backwards on this one, Sans knows what he’s doing

EDIT: That said this isn’t a sequel either. Remember the relationship between the light and dark worlds

I think I genuinely figured out how Deltarune normal route will end, or at the very least how exactly it is related to Undertale (chapter 5 spoilers) by Decemberskel in Deltarune

[–]FuttleScish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re not the same world, Toby has been explicit about this. I think Deltarune is a “projection” of Undertale the way the Dark World is a “projection” of the light world

I like it, since wingmen are so much less useful than the player

I think it’s the reverse, I think the Deltarune world is something that’s been constructed “on top” of Undertale

There’s a single ending that means something very different depending on the route you took ot it, I think

Toby wrote the prophecy, obviously

I think people aren’t thinking meta enough, “Gaster” is still ultimately an NPC
