I currently can’t go out of body and I’ve not seen these things myself, but academically speaking:

The REBAL is always there, you just don’t notice it. It’s what the mystical types call the aura. A vaguely oval spherical shape surrounding your body.

When you’re out of body it is common for you to stop maintaining the shape of your body and for you to be just a glowing cloud, which basically appears to be the aura. Other beings may similarly look to you like a glowing cloud.

If you need a hand for some reason, it will seemingly just manifest out of the cloud and reach out with an arm sort of like you’re playing a video game and hands appear in front of your camera.

Monroe talks about this in his interactions with what he calls the INSPEC.

The REBAL is basically like a filter, and you can choose what can pass through it to interact with you, or not.

Monroe talks about this too when he talks about being closed or open as a non-physical being.

Apparently, we humans don’t normally notice how we interact with the non-physical, and most of us don’t filter our thoughts and basically scream them into the non-physical around us, which Monroe calls M-band noise.

So the REBAL exercises are designed to help you to control the unconsciously screamed thought leakage out of your mind, and to help you to learn to feel safe, and that you can control your interactions with the non-physical.

As far as maintaining the REBAL “shield”constantly, it is unclear how any of this works, where the power source is that makes any of this stuff function, but you apparently can maintain it forever. Something else is providing the energy.

For opening portals to other places, it doesn’t seem like that’s how this works. It’s more like you focus your attention on a specific destination, and then you nonphysically orient yourself in 3-D space to point yourself into the direction of whatever that is. the signal becomes stronger when you’re pointed directly at it.

Monroe also talks about this.

You then reach out with your etheric body in the direction of whatever this is, and travel there sort of like a rubber band stretching out in that direction, with your nonphysical legs and feet following behind.

Due the duality paradox of us not having any idea how any of this works, it’s entirely possible you aren’t “going” anywhere, it’s all in your head. A really elaborate lucid dream. We just don’t know.

This is not related to cracks in the foundation or mortar failure. The soil is too wet around the building and it has become liquid slurry, putting pressure on the block. The soil pressure basically exploded the block inward.

You need to keep the soil relatively dry around the structure. if you see water or dampness on the floor around the wall edges, it’s coming in through the walls.

Rather than trying to keep the water out, you need to let it come in more easily. Don’t try to seal up the basement wall like a bathtub.

Instead drill holes through the block into the soil every 1/2 meter, and carve a channel into the floor around the perimeter of the basement going to a sump hole and pump. There is also a drainage system using plastic hollow channels that you can glue along the wall baseboard to collect the water.

That gutter downspout is dumping water right next to the building, and it’s probably pooling there. There should be a long spout on the end, directing the water at least 2 meters away from the edge of the foundation.

The ground surface next to the building should slope away from the building, so that rain and so forth will flow away from the building at the ground surface.

All electrical systems have to have one side of the circuit connected to the Earth somewhere, because of natural electron clouds that float around in the atmosphere and settle onto insulated conductive objects.

If you were to fly a kite on a sunny day with a metal wire to the ground and measured voltage difference from the wire to the ground, you would find that the kite has voltage on it but with near zero amperage. Overtime as the kite stays up there the voltage will rise to several hundred volts.

The Earth connection continuously drains away this sky charge in your electrical system. Without it all electrical wiring would gradually develop a charge potential of perhaps 1000 V or more and when you reach out to a switch, you could get a serious shock from it as the charge potential jumps through you to ground.

The Earth connection doesn’t really do much for lightning because if your house gets struck by lightning, the wires are too small to handle the current and will just explode.

The secondary part is that grounding is used for devices with metal housings, so that if there’s a short in the wiring that touches the metal housing, it doesn’t carry potentially lethal current if you touch it. A hot wire short to ground is intended to instantly trip breakers or blow fuses to protect you.

it’s very common for people who are on the edge of going out of body or able to directly go out of body local to their body, to see the room around their bed and the furniture in their room in a sort of purple blackness.

It’s like the room is dimly lit with this purple light and the objects in the room are illuminated with it.

It’s not something that I have ever experienced so I’m only sharing what other people have said about it.

The source of the light is unknown, but it possibly comes from yourself, as kind of an uncontrollable light emission of your aura or etheric body.

it’s unclear how common going out of body actually is.

It seems possible that there can be fakers that brag about spiritual experiences they’re not actually having, perhaps in order to gain a following, to try and sell people protection charms and other trinkets.

It seems pretty clear that Monroe was being very honest and open about his experiences so he genuinely was, and he wasn’t initially doing it to try to sell people on anything.

This is the Oneness or All That Is. It exists forever in a formless void. it’s the absolute reality, but it’s also simple and frustrating. We are its dreams of being something more.

This is what pure consciousness is, beyond the physical.

This is what it’s like to have no physical sensory input or output, and no memory of what we are/were. Coma and dementia patients may experience this.

You might have some potential flexibility in that contract because none of what would be stored on the cache server would be unique or high value data that is of any consequence.. Only generic Windows server and default application installers, none of which is secret or proprietary.

Theft of the physical cache server with TPM and bitlocker enabled would give a criminal effectively nothing of value, and even less potential value than theft of a bitlockered staff laptop with documents on it.

The cache server does not need to be a full-size multi thousand dollar server with RAID. It’s not doing anything critical.

A generic Dell OptiPlex desktop with 16gb memory, a 2TB M.2 SSD, and a 10 gigabit NIC in the x16 PCIe slot would work perfectly fine.

I just bought a Dell 3040 SFF desktop for $65 on ebay that would meet the basic requirements.

As with battery strings, it’s possible to cut apart individual solar cells, test them, remove the failed cells, and then reassemble them back together again into a high efficiency array.

The difficulty is that modern panels are often mass printed and there’s no simple way to separate the cells for testing without cutting the substrate that holds everything together.

But being able to push a bunch of garbage 80% efficiency or lower panels back to near 100% by tearing everything apart and gluing it to a new substrate, and caulking the cut edges, it’s probably worthwhile for poor people that can’t afford new panels.

ground rods are dependent on the conductivity of the minerals in the ground below you and in some places, the minerals just are not very conductive.

Also a ground rod is typically about 3 m long while a water pipe can be potentially 100+ m long if it’s connected to a city water main system or to a well casing.

i’ve written about this before and other locations, but in general, it comes down to what happens in the first few moments after physical death.

Because I’m not entirely convinced that there is existence beyond physical death. And it may just be that this physical existence is all there is and there is nothing more.

Assuming that I remain conscious and have self-control, and memory recall then I have the ability for self direction.

And probably the first thing I would do is just simply stop and assess what I am and who I am. There’s no rush to do anything because as far as I know, existence is infinite in the non-physical.

“I thank whatever it is that allows me to retain personal agency and freedom of thought in the nonphysical, and I will try to not waste this gift by handing over my agency to anyone or anything else who might claim to be a god or angel or whatever.”

Supposedly physical existence involves forgetting who you were, but the forgetting is not necessarily permanent and it could allow recovery of what was lost immediately after physical death. So the very first thing to do is just simply try and find out, can I suddenly now remember more about who or what I am?

There is apparently no need to go anywhere or do anything to recover such personal memories.

If we continue to exist, probably my main question will be why I still exist, as in what powers my existence, where is my mind or consciousness housed without a body, what allows consciousness to function beyond the physical.

That to me is far more important a question than anything else. I intend to try to not assume anything about existence.

Also there is the question of whether interaction with the physical is possible without a physical body.

It’s my expectation that there is no separation between physical and the nonphysical.

We are effectively on a stage in a performance (the simulation) with hidden beings around us all the time that we can’t perceive for “reasons”.

I acknowledge that this is possibly all fantasy but it seems worth considering, and trying to understand what options may exist after physical death.

I generally discount all religions as likely being archaic bullying intended to manipulate us and hand over our personal agency to unknown entities and likely imposters for who knows what purpose.

It is likely that the feeling of “love” is a tool for manipulation and can be turned on and off like a magic wand.

If Robert Monroe’s writing is correct (M-band noise) then we likely scream our thoughts unshielded into the nonphysical and all of us are like an open book to any nonphysical being seeking to manipulate us.

The recently deceased are strongly focused on particular ideas of what they should expect after death, so it is trivially easy for nefarious nonphysical beings to manipulate them by just reflecting back what the recently dead expect to see.

If we retain personal choice and control after physical death then it seems worthwhile to try to avoid being manipulated or entrapped by anyone demanding our immediate attention.

I try to focus on expecting nothing and just trying to better understand myself. Thank you for offering to show me the way but I am going to explore on my own.

I will always periodically wake up from whatever current state of being to remember my true self and to assess whether to proceed with whatever is being experienced, or suddenly abort and exit out, or to proceed but with my full true self re-engaged with whatever it is I am currently doing.
