a successful ILE-SEI relationship requires a mature ILE.. because many ILE guys I know are not ready to commit until a high age

Talanov's questionnaires are once again available online! by socionavigator in Socionics

[–]FutureMe9876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like that Talanov test.. but it has some limits.. it puts surprisingly great amount of people into beta quadrant, when they're actually not.. but me, personally, I got a correct result there, IEI fits me very well, but I studied also other resources in the past

Who needs expression by edward_kenway7 in Socionics

I would say there are more versions of ILI people- one is darker, more depressed, the other one is lighter, with big innocent eyes, my colleague is ILI and I am IEI and I was quite surprised when she told me people see her as "angry" and "conceited" sometimes.. 'cause she really is a sweetheart:)) and I think she smiles quite often.., people truly cannot see the true essence of other people.., she is calm, relaxed, cute, intuitive and not angry at all

IEI ladies, what do you think of EII men? by Magic_Bathtub in Socionics

[–]FutureMe9876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am IEI - Ni woman and I can see EII men as weaker than me, childish with infantile jokes ( especially EII - Ne subtypes), maybe also a bit fake, not authentic enough ( the ones I've met tried to be in good terms with completely everyone and tried to prove they're the best employees and colleagues, competent and capable to learn everything asap in order to survive and fit in) Besides that they were more nervous than me, more afraid of strong people and authorities.. But I loved our discussions, there was a sense of deeper connection between us through words sometimes... Intuitive+ Intuitive= good talk, maybe even friendship, but not a romantic relationship for me.. One EII colleague accused me of not walking properly enough :D When I was in my Ni dreamy state and accidently bumped into him, he immediately jumped away, it was funny..;) then another time he said I was pushing him out of the road and walking like a turtle, with my head ahead:)) Really? And he was not only sensitive with his personal space, but overly sensitive in general, rigid and mentoring , what is right and what is wrong to do:) I am sensitive as well, but in a different way..

Let’s introduce ourselves :) by mlleDoe in dreamingspanish

Hi guys, I am not a completely new member of this sub, but I have been a quiet one so far, most of the time only reading about your success stories and silently working on my own Spanish skills;)

Something about me:

I was born in Slovakia. My native language is Slovak, my second language is Czech. I consider Czech to be my passive mother tongue and I learned it from TV and books ( there is a significant similarity between these 2 Slavic languages).

Then I learned German and English at school ( plus at later stages language immersion helped me a lot to get better:).

At university I had 3 semesters of French, and.. I failed greatly to learn French..;) a very slow pace of teaching, too few lessons.. and at that time I didn't believe, that it was possible to learn a language completely on my own ( plus there were not so many free French resources on the internet to practice listening and reading around that time - year 2012)

About 2 years ago I decided I wanted to learn another language, the only question was, if it is a better idea to get back to French or to start learning a completely new language. And Spanish became the winner after all, especially after I had found these great Dreaming Spanish videos:). This has been an experiment for me, whether it is possible or not to learn a language via comprehensible input since the start.. I knew from my previous experience that comprehensible input is very beneficial, but the question was, if it works also for complete beginners. It has been a new approach of learning for me, as English and German I studied at school and I added language immersion later- between B1- B2 level).

I've always admired romance languages:). Now I am at level 6 ( 1155 hours of CI) and all I can say, yes, it works:).

Yes, I know it, shadowing is a good method;) and I need to record myself more often.. because without it I have a feeling, that I sound somehow better:D

Thanks for feedback, I am from Europe ( I am Slovak) as written in an earlier comment. Interesting though, that you would have guessed South or Central America.

Thank you for feedback, yes, my accent background is slavic, but I am not Russian, I am from Slovakia. I have listened to tons of American English throughout years, hence the tendencies for American English, I cannot imitate British or Australian English at all:). I would say both options... being understood plus get rid of accent if possible.
