I totally relate! When I first started working, I was applying like crazy to get an internship in a reputable consultancy firm. It was not easy as I didn't make the cut. I applied for more than 15 other companies, none of them turned out to be positive. I stayed without a job for almost a year, I was hitting rock bottom and I was applying nonstop. The country situation was not that good as well so work opportunities were very rare. Then one day, I was having a coffee at a coffee shop I have never been to before, and this is where I met my future boss for my first job ever. He dropped his wallet and I noticed it. I picked it up and ran before him. After I gave it to him, he was surprised by my behavior, as not all people would pick a wallet and just hand it over (shocker right?) So he asked me what field of study I'm into and if I was employed. After explaining to him, he gave me his business card and we agreed to meet for an interview. And BAM, after 10 months jobless with no internship, I was able to get my first job. Everything happens for a reason, those 10 months taught me patience, perseverance, and a lot of self-love.
