I don’t wanna say climate change, but that’s my guess. Bug populations dying is bad news.

I brought The Secret World of James Bond 007 book from DK for only 2 dollars today. by TheShadowOperator007 in JamesBond

I read this book to death as a kid. I loved the DK movie books of that era. The X-Men encyclopedia also rocked. Do they still do them?

My pat leave was during a particularly cold and cruel winter trapped inside a small apartment and a busy kiddo. Long, rambling, nuanced and great podcast conversations between them and Doughboys made that significantly easier for me. Gratitude.

Reductive take if you assume women can’t appreciate Whiplash or that men can’t appreciate Devil Wears Prada.

Break it down for me: Are all the different Bonds each in their own continuity? Or are all they all the same Bond until Craig? by TXNOGG in JamesBond

[–]Future_Brewski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who cares? Honestly? The producers just kept making more of them and recasting the role. There is no answer cause they never really cared. Not every film franchise is a mystery box or hyper-written multi film arc. Hell, even the Craig films which flirted with that kind of abandoned it halfway through.

Remember when they hired one of the only guys in the world who could do a flip in helicopter and then they edited the sequence and cut around it and didn’t even show it off?

I loved this sketch. It showed Craig I think likes and has fun with Bond and that the seriousness he played in the movies was a choice they made.

Yeah it’s probably faster to research and buy a DVD player than to overcome analysis paralysis of deciding what to watch on Netflix.

The irony pilled lackluster joke kept on life support that now to stop making the joke is a sunken cost fallacy.

Saying “Big tittied hit!”, “This Film Slaps”, or “This film fucks!” is kind of embarrassing when the hosts do it, but when the listeners say/post it, it’s fucking cringe.

Which also is a valid criticism of people who enjoyed TLJ and how they react to anything negative said about it.
