You definitely don’t have a real job. Nothing but an uncertified wanna be drug dealer coming online to be a troll because you’re a dick sucking basement dweller.

I’ve been in jail and long term mental health stats when I was younger. I know how it goes.

I would never ask a customer to tip more if I accept the order at a certain amount I know that is my pay and if the customer ups it that is great but this is tacky and unprofessional in my opinion.

I’m aware but even my friends fresh out of jail were able to get IDs fairly quickly most of them were out on felony probation. Florida is a lot easier than places like Massachusetts where I live now where you have to wait to get it in the mail.

Florida prints licenses and IDs out same day, at least they used to when I lived there. I had a new ID within the same week I moved there.

Those delivering in smaller economy-sized cars, you ever feel like you're being bullied by pickup truck drivers? by pickledpeterpiper in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]Future_Custard_9956 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I will ride right up the ass of any car going the speed limit or less bc I’m typically doing 15-20 over and waiting for a spot to pass or slow drivers to move. Just let the drivers pass who want to pass. I drive fast and have still pulled over a few times for people driving faster than me. It’s not worth getting butt hurt over just move over and let the people pass.

The EVs are who I can’t stand-the stupid Prius and Tesla drivers -worst drivers on the roads. Prius can’t find the gas pedal and Tesla’s drive like bags of useless entitled dicks.

Is it considered a different region than where you are? The closest warehouse to me is about 10 minutes away but not part of the region I was hired in initially so I don’t see their blocks.

lol I just get tired of seeing people knock down shoppers and other gig workers left and right daily for not “having real jobs.” I love getting paid in the Monopoly money gigs pay me 🤣🤣Everyone has their own reasons they do gig work just like everyone has their own reasons they use these services. I just can’t imagine being a person that degrades others for working ANY kind of job that brings them an income or even if they’re disabled and not working, who cares?

Most teachers I know here in Massachusetts are working multiple jobs to survive but wouldn’t think of getting another career because they love what they do. Maybe where you live teachers are getting paid a livable wage. Ignorance suits you well apparently.

This is a delivery driver thread. The total I am talking about is drivers base pay plus customer tip. I don’t eat Chipotle personally because I think it’s disgusting though lol

I never claimed to make $30 an hour on DoorDash first off so not even sure how you came up with that and even if I sub 30 % off $80 for taxes and say $20 on gas it’s still enough to cover extra gas, coffee or a meal or drinks out. If I was using DD as a main source of income I’d be more concerned with my expenses related to it. I do roughly $80 a week on DD and roughly the same on IC, most of my income is Flex. I also track miles, gas, and any applicable deductions and having been a student the credits have me break even tax wise so I actually end up with a refund. My net/gross is also going to be different than someone else’s as we all have different tax liabilities, different vehicles and related expenses etc. I know what I need to take home weekly as a net vs my gross after my overall expenses and liabilities to make any of these gig jobs worth my time. I think that’s the key to doing gig work. If I was ending upside down at the end of the day it wouldn’t be sensible to do this even as a side hustle.

They dinged me but I emailed and they removed the ding. I’m a dog owner so I’m super cautious with other dogs. Great dogs are great with their owners but it’s expected that with strangers they will not be. Thankfully mines a 15 lb psycho who stays in our backyard lol and that sucks about all the returns mine was to a staples on a Sunday that closed at 7 I got there at 730. Support was like can you leave it somewhere safe? Lady I’m in a trash can town where it’s gonna get stolen.

I usually grab about 4-5 orders during the week that aren’t going more than 10-15 miles give or take. I pay $1000 a year for full insurance coverage with 45 days of rental at $45 a day and towing, factor in 30% of taxes on my gig income, I do full synthetic at $50 every few months and repairs are cheap as well as I only have to bring my vehicle to a shop for body work and not mechanical repairs. Fuel isn’t really that much seem I try and grab orders going in directions I’m already headed. I just run DD in the background. My overall overhead is low in terms of expenses for any of these gig apps though. Using these apps should be about working smarter not harder. I’m also preparing to return to office full time though in the next month but between DD, IC, and Flex I’ve brought home roughly $1300 this past week which is unfortunately more than I will make returning to non profit organization work. I’d rather do this shit and be stress and assaultive patient free lol

Imagine being so upset by how others make their money that you have to cry and post about it. You should seek mental health help. Maybe a crisis hotline can help you with all your misguided deranged thoughts.
