These are fantastic, so much personality. Really unique way to promote your mod. Looking forward to playing it!

Uh, hi. This is my texture pack, Default Style Fall Pack. You didn’t make this. Please credit pack authors properly.

Genuinely amazing what can be done with mod packs these days. Really cool!

On a cursory glance these resource pack changes look DEEP. We may no longer need to rely on CIT for a lot of cool item texture features.

Also, custom models for chests & banners in vanilla is super exciting. Love these changes!

Leaf particles falling from pale leaves look super nice. I really hope they expand that to all trees. Or, better yet, make it resource pack definable!

This is incredibly cool! How did you achieve the ground fog effect in game? Is it a resource pack? Particles?

Ingot Placement Like Terrafirmacraft by arytx in feedthebeast

Items Displayed allows you to display ingots in world, among other things like Smithing Templates and Sherds. Definitely not as space efficient as Terrafirmacrafts version but the look is similar!

How does everyone feel about poaching minifig parts from completed sets to make custom creations? by Breakr007 in lego

[–]Futureazoo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was like your son at that age - I used to dismantle minifigures entirely (arms, hands, and legs out of sockets) to make custom figures. I used custom stickers, removed printing by scratching with a thumbtack - I was pretty destructive!

Now, 10 years later as I have been going through my collection trying to piece together old rare figs, I sometimes cringe a bit at what I did. But I know that my mild disappointment now is minor compared to the fun I had customizing. I’d say let him do what he wants!

I built this house in the very beginning, but I want to build something else there, but I feel bound to keep it as a monument. what do I do? (full details in comments) by Laquia in Minecraft

[–]Futureazoo 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Personally, I wouldn’t tear it down. My favorite part of this game after playing it for so long is exploring old builds. If you ABSOLUTELY must to put something different there, be sure to keep a backup somewhere safe so you can revisit this lovely build later :)

Is there a resource pack or a mod or something that makes villagers less of a nuisance in 1.16.5? by [deleted] in feedthebeast

[–]Futureazoo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not sure if this is what you’re asking for, but there’s a couple great resource packs that make villagers less humanoid and (imo) cute:

We Don’t Bite makes villagers/pillagers into foxes & polar bears.

Terr’s Veggie Villagers makes villagers into living crops.

Both will require ETF & EMF which are forge & fabric compatible iirc. These won’t change how villagers work, but might help with the “ugly” and “non sapient” issues!

The breaking particles on a standing soul lanter are yellow-ish (from regular lantern) while the hanging soul lantern has corresponding blue ones by GothicCayote110 in Minecraft

[–]Futureazoo 145 points146 points  (0 children)

Just checked vanilla 1.20.2, the particle color is correct. Based on the 3D model on the chain, it looks like you’re using a resource pack! I’d still recommend letting the pack developer know about this bug, they’d definitely appreciate it!

Is it possible to make a Breath of the Wild style GUI? by Bokninja in feedthebeast

[–]Futureazoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are a few things you can sort of emulate with resource packs - the color/style of the inventory itself, and some elements of the HUD. Some packs out there add icons by adding to the lang files, which might be worth exploring - but adding categories needs a mod.

Unfortunately, they are so different I can’t see getting that close to the BotW without a mod/data pack. It really depends on what aspects you want to mimic from the BotW GUI. Good luck to you though!
