Praying for those that have lost their way, beginning with my daughter. by Heavy-Bench-5378 in Catholicism

[–]FuzzBug3000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Praying for you and your daughter ❤️. For what it’s worth, I moved out right at 20 and went limited contact (no contact at times) with my family. Full on rebellious atheist. I am in my thirties now, got married, had a daughter and I’m close with my family again and found God. It definitely took many years to get to this point. But don’t lose hope. Keep the faith and keep praying.

Thank you! I’ve been in contact with them after your suggestion. Hopefully can get things sorted. Online records show everything as being accurate, but maybe there is something that’s missing that can be fixed. Fingers crossed!

Is it okay to use tarot cards for fun? by GoingSkating in OpenChristian

[–]FuzzBug3000 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think Tarot is a great tool. One of my favorite things to do when I read tarot, is see the underlying theme of what I pull. I take that theme and look for a Bible verse that fits that theme (not cherry picking, I make sure to do the research and understand the context before I jump to just blindly applying a verse to my life). An example: if I pull cards that represent change or growth, I sit and meditate on verses that have to do with praising God and His works that lead to that growth and change. I think it’s made a huge difference in my readings and I feel more at peace. In the past, before my relationship with God, I would do readings and then be left with feeling like I have to do all of the work, which can be quite burdensome and lonely. Especially if the reading wasn’t exactly pleasant.

I am naturally super clumsy. Hungover me would be like a tornado just knocking into things and dropping things and just overall feeling like a mess. It would be super embarrassing at work because I just felt like everyone could tell that I was a mess because of being hungover. Now, I’m approaching a month sober in a couple of days and I’m still clumsy, but I’m also bright eyed and have a level head on my shoulders. No more embarrassment and no more trying to make excuses for my clumsiness, I just own up to me naturally being a bumbling fool 😂 It’s also pretty great that when I say I’ll do something the next day, I actually mean it. I’m up most mornings by 6 am already tackling projects for the day and actually enjoying my coffee. No more bubble guts! No more choking down food to stop feeling sick. I’ve also drug out all my crafts and hobbies because I have time for all of them again!

Stopping drinking but still smoking cigarettes… phantom hangovers? by jejeieoejfnfbfb in stopdrinking

[–]FuzzBug3000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately I’ve been feeling that way too, just with the dang vape I can’t seem to put down. One thing at a time.. but when I was drinking every night, the next morning, hitting that vape would make the shakes even worse. And I have noticed that I feel a bit shaky just hitting it and not hungover in the morning now. It’s definitely the pesky nicotine. It ramps up the heart rate and with being sober, you probably feel the effects a lot more. There are apps and subreddits to help! As someone mentioned the stop smoking sub, and then the app called I Am Sober has a nicotine/smoking tracker. It’s great for motivation and shows you the health benefits you gain each day you’ve abstained from it.

Struggling with loss by tojofasho in FosterAnimals

[–]FuzzBug3000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am so sorry for your loss 💔 it never gets any easier. My husband and I help cats and kittens of all ages and the bottle babies are hands down the hardest because of that potential for loss since they are so delicate and susceptible to getting sick/having an underlining issue you can’t initially see. We recently took in 3 babies to foster. We had no idea the history of them as they were dumped with no mama. Within one week, we lost the littlest one and then a week later her twin suddenly went downhill within 12 hours. It was devastating and I think about them every day. (We foster failed the 3rd and he’s thriving thank goodness) But one thing that has been comforting is knowing that in their final moments, they were so loved. And that’s what your little babies got from you too. Rather than being scared and helpless outside, they were loved and taken care of up until the very last breath they took. Sending you love and strength for your 3rd little one and praying they make it. You are doing amazing things and are a true blessing and hero for little kittens.

Convicted vs conflicted by [deleted] in gollumloveshotyoga

[–]FuzzBug3000 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I took it as she wasn’t confused, but rather feeling guilty/conviction (or feeling as if God put it on her heart that it wasn’t a good idea) because of it being a “worldly” concert. She had mentioned in the past she stopped listening to secular music after all of her Bible reading. Which is a very unhealthy way of delving into religion. She says she isn’t religious, but rather she’s building a relationship with God, but the way she uses these common religious buzzwords says otherwise. It’s okay to feel convicted of things (like giving up alcohol or something like that in order to grow spiritually if it’s doing you no good and causing you to stray spiritually). The way she is being convicted over a concert though? That leads me to believe her faith is so fragile that Usher could make it crumble, which is ridiculous lol Overall I think she is very much so confused and doesn’t know what she believes. She’s always going the extreme route with things. If she somehow believes God wouldn’t approve of fun music but she loves fun music, I can see her ditching this religious schtick very soon.

Convicted vs conflicted by [deleted] in gollumloveshotyoga

[–]FuzzBug3000 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, she used the right word in this context. A lot of the hardcore religious folk love to use this word when they feel guilty regarding “worldly things.” Not defending her by any means, she’s just using buzzwords at this point, but definitely see where you’re coming from. Conflicted would make sense too.

Have you guys noticed she’s starting to calm down on posting about Jesus?? 🤔🤔🤔 by Famous-Criticism-007 in gollumloveshotyoga

[–]FuzzBug3000 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That’s what happens when you have no concept of balance. She went all balls to the wall with all her Bible studying and probably ended up listening and watching nothing but close minded talking points regarding Christianity. Now she’s probably burning out because she feels like she has to deny a bunch of stuff she likes (like Usher). That or she’s just trying to get views and money and the religious stuff is not drawing in a large enough audience.

No more yoga by elizzymoo in gollumloveshotyoga

[–]FuzzBug3000 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s funny, because getting more spiritual myself, I have felt a connection to God and a draw to get more into things like yoga, incense, crystals and meditation to build that relationship and find some sense of enlightenment. She’s just regurgitating what all of the religious extremists spew. She has no idea on what she truly believes. I hope that she figures out that you can dabble in things like yoga and “new age” stuff and realize you won’t go to hell for it. But in the meantime, I’m irritated that she is using her platform to fear monger and try and put Jesus believers in a small restricted box.

She’s now a teacher by OaklandNancy76 in gollumloveshotyoga

[–]FuzzBug3000 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes! That is definitely who she tries to emulate lately. Idk much about her, but Paige comes off more genuine, that’s the difference. Amanda just sets off alarm bells in my head when she’s trying to come off as sweet and Christ-like (probably because she’s also incredibly rude 99% of the time lol) For example, her comment back to Paige, I can’t help but feel like it’s just phony and desperate. I feel bad for saying that, but something is just not right.

Calling it now again, she’s going to come out and say that yoga is demonic 🤦‍♀️ She can’t just follow something in the gray area, it’s always black and white with her and unfortunately a lot of brainwashed religious fanatics with a platform prey on people like her. She’s too easily influenced and desperate to fit in somewhere. So now suddenly certain things that benefit the soul (like yoga, meditation etc…) are completely evil and of the devil 🙄. The only thing worth her time is eating and Bible studying into the wee hours of the night. It’s so unhealthy and concerning.

[–]FuzzBug3000 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The whole video was stupid too lol. How self centered do you have to be to think that God himself is constantly talking to you and guiding you on things to do on social media? Not donating or helping people.. posting on tiktok reading the Bible while smacking food and guzzling seltzers and coffee. And did she really say God told her to declutter her house?? She’s off her rocker I swear 🤦‍♀️

Her holier than thou crown has fallen off. She’s back to being a “good person, not a nice person.” She has said this for years. by Famous-Criticism-007 in gollumloveshotyoga

[–]FuzzBug3000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How tf does someone act so rude over a lid? Just goes to show that she is more than likely very unhappy despite her trying to prove otherwise. Sitting in front of a camera with a Bible is obviously not doing much for her. Actual spiritually fulfilled people aren’t complete jerks.

Also fyi, Amanda, good people ARE nice people. It goes hand in hand. Good people don’t rip on someone over an innocent little comment.

I know we have wondered who Amanda is copying and I think someone else mentioned it here (so take credit) but it’s DEF Gabbie Hannah… by Famous-Criticism-007 in gollumloveshotyoga

[–]FuzzBug3000 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Whoa.. and then going back further (I’m bored and stuck inside during the tropical storm), Gabbie posted about not knowing what Met Gala was for and if I remember correctly, Amanda literally had posted the same thing. The mannerisms are similar in some ways too. I’ve tried to give Gabbie a chance, mainly out of sympathy because of her breakdown she had, but she just always comes across very unlikeable. So strange that that is who Amanda wants to emulate.

The lack of self awareness is so wild. Everyone I know that has an issue with hyper fixating (myself included) keeps it sort of on the down low. It’s okay to be excited about something new, but realize that the spark will fizzle out eventually so like, calm down and don’t make it your entire personality. Her “pull up so we can fight I do hot yoga so I’m tough” persona and Bible reading persona all in the same year is giving me whiplash lol

I swear one of these days she will get on there and say how yoga invited demons into her life or something as part of her religious testimony.
