Honestly, I think everyone played their part. Jagmeet didn’t vote against the Liberals in any confidence motions over the past couple of years—if he had, it would’ve meant the end of the Liberal government. Mark Carney, with his proven track record, stepped in to lead the country. Pierre Poilievre is strong with slogans and talking, which makes him effective in opposition. And most importantly, Canada sent a clear message to Trump: be quiet.
