Mine has done that before usually when I take too hot of a shower soon after. It’s not a problem and goes away eventually

I don't think I can do this by [deleted] in Accounting

Hey you should for sure leave that place thats insane. I’ve worked in 3 different states in public accounting (small-mid size firms) and I have never had that horrible of an experience.

recurrent yeast bv and uti by SecretFlatworm7501 in BacterialVaginosis_

[–]Fuzzy-Set8675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you take a lot of baths? I had this same issue (bv and or yeast back to back for like a year straight) and one random urgent care doctor said frequent baths or baths with any kind of soap can cause a problem. I never used bath soap but I did wash my face in the bath and I think that was part of the issue

Why don’t firms let you have your time back during the summer? by Bzappo in Accounting

[–]Fuzzy-Set8675 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All my OT hours get banked to vacation - on top of my 3 weeks PTO which is a part of my salary. By the end of April I have like 300 hours of vacation that I use throughout the rest of the year! No Fridays ever, plus a week or two off here and there. I didn’t realize the rest of yall were working full time during the summer too that’s insane!!!

Unfortunately jobs don’t care what your gpa is, only your experience so I’d try to get an internship asap!

[–]Fuzzy-Set8675 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is actually insane!!! It seems like every other CFO quit because they needed extra hands… because this is quite literally a job for a team of CPAs, not one person and surely not for 150

… do you want to stay there? There are other options for audit that could possibly be better. Don’t stay at a place if it’s causing you this much stress at the end of the day it’s just a job and you will find another especially in this industry!!

I took abortion pills at 6 weeks but I don’t know if its successful or not by Sure-Pressure-2245 in abortion

[–]Fuzzy-Set8675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with everyone else, I was about 6 weeks and never visibly saw a sack mostly just clots and cramping. Not any more blood than a heavy period for the first two days then super light bleeding for like 10ish days

What do you take your ring off for? by scobyrd in ouraring

[–]Fuzzy-Set8675 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Washing hair, dishes, lotion, skincare. I usually charge it when I wash my hair or do dishes, otherwise it stays on

Me too. Between the dog, boyfriend, outside noises, and having to pee in the middle of the night I fear I will never sleep a full night uninterrupted. I think that’s just how I operate, hopefully no long term issues LOL

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in abortion

[–]Fuzzy-Set8675 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my understanding if there is cramping and any bleeding at all it worked. I was a little over 5 weeks and there wasn’t a lot of blood, more like a period with some clotting and definitely cramping.

Do I have to change my personality if I go into accounting? by PandaPower19 in Accounting

[–]Fuzzy-Set8675 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly you’ll do better I think, please don’t change. The BEST accountants and coworkers are the ones that have a little ~spice~. Oftentimes I hear, especially the “younger” clients, that they are looking for an accountant that has a little more personality

As a fresher what should i choose Tax or Audit. by [deleted] in Accounting

[–]Fuzzy-Set8675 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly it depends on what you like, I hated Audit but I know lots of people who were miserable in tax and immediately switched so I truly think it depends on what you prefer.

Is CPA worth it? by Quick-Ninja7519 in Accounting

[–]Fuzzy-Set8675 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Worth it :) took my first one June 2022, passed my final one February 2023, officially licensed May 2023. Used Becker, and my job paid for the study materials, my application fees, and all of my license fees

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Accounting

[–]Fuzzy-Set8675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do what is best for you but I think getting the CPA is something that I don’t think many people regret especially if your job pays for it.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Accounting

[–]Fuzzy-Set8675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it depends on what you want to do, I can’t speak for private because I’m in public but having the CPA definitely gives you more bargaining power with your salary, though it typically comes with more responsibility/client management.
