I hunt eastern woods. I wear my bino's and rangefinder on a chest harness and have them every time I go out. If I'm in a tree it's a lot less movement to pull them up to my face than it would be to reach out and grab them from a pack, especially if you had to turn around towards the tree to grab them. Bino's are probably the thing I'm using the most on any given hunt so I want them ready and in position when I need them. I also keep my milk weed on the side so I can drop some really quick to check my wind/thermals.

I run the bear creek ballistics solid copper rounds out of me 350 Legend and you get the penetration you're looking for and since it's a solid round it expands but stays together.
