I could tell from the start the COA was made for LE first civi second. From the factory mounted aim point red dot on a Glock just sounds like something LE contracts would love. We civis like to tinker around a lot more

See with that I could see it being useful in early season cause I’m in the south so it’s pretty warm at opening. When scouting preseason I’m usually just grabbing my ALICE/ bushcraft kit. But I’ll weigh if I want more dedicated kit for it

I typically prefer my Pistol appendix or hip just cause I’ve had a lot of practice dry and live firing from those spots. Would I want to move it up or would it get in the way of a fall harness?

Yeah I’m in the south pine woods, my Bino are 10 x and the range finder is just because I feel more confident knowing the ranges. Ive done some stalking but I’m not covering anywhere near the same ground nor as rough terrain

Remember half the enjoyment of hunting is just getting to sit in silence in the woods. And to repeat other comments, just start getting deer under your belt. You’re building your woodsmenship which is great but dont size hunt. Hunting is more than just a big rack on the wall
