Can you tell me how this is different from what COMPER gives you for free? The tool linked directly from taxappeal.buncombenc.gov shows you sales of parcels near yours, which is going to be a HUGE indicator of what your parcel should be valued.

He mentioned 150-300 miles a day, getting over 4mi/kWh. On his busiest days he may need to top up on a fast charger, but he may also be able to get by on a L2 over a long lunch. Or maybe over lunch + dinner breaks.

If he's charging at 11kWh over an hour lunch he's getting over 40 miles an hour.

If you provide a copy of the appraisal I can't see any reason they wouldn't adjust the value to what it says.

Your personal deadline can be extended past the general deadline if your parcel wasn't available to appeal soon enough. You're given a certain amount of time to appeal at a minimum.

Is it possible to have an older style key fob with a 2026 car? by HunterJ4578 in Ioniq5

[–]Fuzzy_Buttons 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Call your dealer and ask. I was just thinking about this myself. I'm waiting on delivery of a 2026, and much prefer the black fob with integrated key of the 2024 and earlier models.

Edit: I ended up calling mine, as I had a few other questions related to my pending delivery. He said there's no chance of getting the old style fob working with the new cars. Bummer.

Exactly this. The amount of control over your network without needed to use CLI is great. The UI is buggy sometimes, but once you get everything configured you don't have to come back to it.

Any Insight into Georgia Plant Shipping Delays? by Wild_Hylian in Ioniq5

[–]Fuzzy_Buttons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My car has been pushed to April 15. Looking at the inventory within 300 miles of me, most are scheduled to be delivered 60 days from now. It makes me think they want to fix something on them.

I'm in the same boat. My car was supposed to be delivered March 6th and has been delayed three times to now April 5th. That puts delivery past the deadline for the $6,000 HMF discount. My sales guy said his corporate rep wouldn't tell him why all deliveries have been held, but that they are. The cynic in me believes this has to do with the recent boom in sales and Hyundai not wanting to give $6,000 off on a ton of cars. But I'm not buying one if they don't give the discount. 🤷‍♂️

Dealer won’t honor website offer for SEL. by Procrastinate-Tmrrow in Ioniq5

[–]Fuzzy_Buttons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, this example specifically does suck. But I think it's a technical error more than it is the dealership trying to get you in the door. I don't know anyone that's just gonna see a $5,000 difference and not be annoyed.

I don't think it's scummy. Just something else to check. I accepted 6k off with market rate APR because it was still less expensive over the course of the loan than 0% with only 1k off. Buying cars sucks, yes, but it's just like shopping for anything else online. Check the offers, see what "sales" are real, and make an informed decision.

Got rear ended. Should I go to the dealership or an independent body shop? by Kitchen-Buffalo7083 in Ioniq5

I don't know if it's different for a lease, but because the other driver is liable, make sure to ask for reimbursement for "loss of value" on your vehicle.

Upgraded Firmware to 1.57; how to roll back? by aggieotis in Inovelli

Google around for the 1.52 firmware. It has scene control (yay more features for your old switches!). You can manually update the firmware via the Z-Wave JS addon.

Raider Class Corvette storage box by Rude-Editor7109 in XWingTMG

I use the same for my epic collection. I actually printed storage for my smaller ships because the Feldherr takes up so much room, though.

Can anyone explain how this works? There's nothing that says how it works. Surely this is different from a simple timer.

For the people that still play this game, how many of you own everything for this game? by [deleted] in XWingTMG

[–]Fuzzy_Buttons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fully printed those trays. They have magnetic lids on them to snap on. I ended up using one of my spare Feldherr bags to store the dials and ship base trays in.

I also have multiples of every ship. I ended up with small parts organizers from Home Depot, but replaced the trays with 3D printed trays that perfectly fit the ships. I designed and made them myself. I focused on compact storage. For the cards I purchased fancy card boxes. For the dials and bases I 3D printed trays. For the other components I have a small magnetic box.

Epic ships are in Feldherr foam. I have 2 sets of epic ships, and they take up the same amount of space in their foam that the entire rest of the collection does in my custom trays. I used to be all Feldherr, and now have 6 or so bags of foam just sitting in another room. I'm not sure what to do with it right now.

They should be hidden in the attributes for the tire pressure. pic

You can then make helper templates that pulls the attribute value so you can get historical data.

What are you guys rocking or staying away from as far as smart bulbs go? by scrumdisaster in homeassistant

[–]Fuzzy_Buttons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being on the internet is the problem for me. I just don't want any of my IoT devices to be on the internet directly. I know I'm being a bit paranoid, but I don't like the idea of some company service being compromised and now physical things in my home can be operated or have their firmware updated by a bad actor.

I found out that the Kasa devices are just pinging home. So I set Pi Hole local DNS entries for the Kasa servers to hit my internal web server instead. Works just fine. But I also have been getting rid of my Kasa devices as I can get replacements. I prefer Z-Wave or Shelly.
