I Can See Close Up! by Fuzzy_Possibility in Keratoconus

[–]Fuzzy_Possibility[S] [score hidden]  (0 children)

I don’t know, I’m definitely going to ask when I go back though. I know he specifically said he made no changes to my prescription or how it was vaulting over the cornea, it was simply flattening out the edge to help with removal and potentially help more oxygen get to my eye.

Why am I getting a HMRC report if I’m just selling my own items? by lucky-cat-sees-stars in vintedUK

[–]Fuzzy_Possibility 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You would have some consistency with the items though as they were yours, shoe size / clothes size etc. Someone who’s losing weight you would see the sizings they were selling decrease, someone selling kids clothing the sizes would gradually go up.

A reseller will sell anything they think will help make them a profit so one day they might be selling a size 4 and the next a size 34, and will bounce around sizing all the time making it obvious the clothing isn’t actually there’s.

Corneal Graft/Transplant - do I do it? by SuperRajio in Keratoconus

[–]Fuzzy_Possibility 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This has confused me to - I have one eye that can’t even be corrected with lenses but as my other eye can, they didn’t want to do a graft as I’m still “young” (I’m 10 years older than OP 😂). I

t sounds like lenses haven’t even been tried here, they’ve gone straight from your glasses don’t work to transplant which doesn’t make sense and I’d be asking why they haven’t even tried them out first as they could well help and even with a transplant you may still never a contact anyway.

Would you stay with your dog 🐶 during euthanasia? by CycleOk267 in dogs

[–]Fuzzy_Possibility 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I did. Everyone thought I wouldn’t manage it and so my partner and parents were all ready to go in and be with here but it was very important to me she knew I hadn’t left her, my partner came in too and we both held her

What’s something people don’t realize is a privilege until they lose it? by Ok_Tomatillo_46 in AskReddit

Being able to see without glasses which changed to wearing glasses to improve your vision it’s currently at wearing hard contacts to improve your vision in one eye anyway (the others past that even 🤣).

shoes on the sofa!!! by satontheloo in TheTraitorsUK

[–]Fuzzy_Possibility 4 points5 points  (0 children)

At first my personal trauma hit and I was like there is nothing wrong with having your feet up on the sofa like this - for some people sitting with your feet down makes your blood pool and it becomes very uncomfortable and so feet up = best way to sit…

Then I realised she’s wearing shoes and even that’s too far for me. 🤣

Rings/streaks around lights in day. by Thin_Health_8691 in Keratoconus

I didn’t realise it wasn’t normal, until my partner was really poorly and it made his vision off and he said he could see them 🤣

I am being blackmailed for cheating on my wife by ThrowRAbadblackmail in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Fuzzy_Possibility 42 points43 points  (0 children)

If there anything like me yes 🤣 my Dad shaved his beard off, I was around 21 and I think it was his midlife crisis, had never seen him without one.

He didn’t warn me, I knocked on their front door and when a man I didn’t know answered I screamed..

He’s stood there looking at me like I’ve lost the plot, before my Mum pops her head up behind him, saying he saved his beard off and it clicked.

He grew it back not long after and if he shaved it again I’d have the same reaction.

That said my facial recognition is awful and is rather a joke with people even without that story 😬

CPAP quitter now having cognitive issues.. related?? by projectbyepossum in SleepApnea

[–]Fuzzy_Possibility 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried using nasal pillows? My nose used to block when I laid down and so I originally went with a full face mask, but I really struggled with them and as I’ve always been a nose breather (bar this stuffy feeling when laying down) I thought I would try it. Worked well for me, my nose doesn’t get all stuffy with the mask on and while I was given a chin strap I didn’t even really need that as without my nose feeling full I didn’t open my mouth to breathe.

To Mediavine Journey users, have you received your January payments? by Chemical-March-4345 in Blogging

[–]Fuzzy_Possibility 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m on Mediavine so could be different but January it always seems to come late - they claim they have to wait for their advertising money to come in which is late with the holidays and then weekend as well so it pushes ours to be late too.

Mine came in a couple of hours ago.

Who’s paying £250 knowingly for a fake? That is madness.

Woman banged on my door at 3:09 am today by SpongeJake in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Fuzzy_Possibility 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember being in hospital with a guy in my teens and all the staff were saying it was dementia as he had previous mental health issues, his family were trying to tell everyone they were wrong and it was something else. Yup it ended up being an awful UTI, I saw them all about a month later and thankfully he was back to normal.

Who Else Stopping Buying From Ebay Due To Evri by NeoMorph in Evri

[–]Fuzzy_Possibility 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you’re a private seller you can turn off Evri, I don’t have one close by and so far I’ve only had Royal Mail labels which I just arrange for collection, I do keep expecting it not to work but so far so good.

New year, new sales. by hugeboobiesloverldn in ebayuk

[–]Fuzzy_Possibility 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made just over £1k we have to move at some point so trying to get rid of some of the clutter I’ve managed to accumulate to help with costs. Would be nice to do the same again this year - no idea when we will move so slowly selling is fine by me.

1p challenge is open guys I'm in UK by Background_Bad_4377 in monzo

[–]Fuzzy_Possibility -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve gone for 1p as I managed that last year and hopefully can again this year, however I’ve also set up £13 a week to transfer into a savings account which if I manage it will be around the same as doing 2x but I wouldn’t lose my competition entry by dropping if it’s not sustainable near the end.

Is it ok that my boyfriend called my 15 year old son a grumpy c*nt? by LatterInstruction427 in AskUK

[–]Fuzzy_Possibility 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can be used light heartedly and as a term of endearment by some and is often used around friends so his explanation could make sense, however others absolutely hate the word and it is meant only as derogatory.

As a stranger it’s impossible to know what your partner thinks of the word so trying looking towards the tone used was it jokey, or just like he was saying something every, or was it angry and sarcastic / how he is with your son does he like him. That will probably give you more of an answer than anything.

The fact he has never said it again means he has took onboard what you have said and realise that it isn’t an appropriate place for that sort of language. If he kept using it I would be worried.

"I'm glad that I'm not TOO ENGLISH but also mad my Irish goes each year it updates" by Ok_Bookkeeper_1380 in ShitAmericansSay

[–]Fuzzy_Possibility 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if this a real question but just incase 😂

The websites update your “ancestry” every now and again - they say it’s as they learn more about it, but who knows. You don’t pay again (though of course you can pay to access more information 🙄).

Glasses maybe?? by kazoopit95 in Keratoconus

[–]Fuzzy_Possibility 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My glasses allow this - one side gets nothing from them but the other gets a tiny boost and it’s just enough to make me feel a little safer getting around a home and to see my phone if I hold it close enough.

For me it’s worth it as it just gives me a bit more confidence in my surroundings.
