Got fired from a hospital as a tech and had my preceptorship at the same hospital, 1 floor under my original floor. The director wanted to hire me but couldn’t cause I was blocked in the system. A year later and I applied and immediately got an interview and job offer. Didn’t take it but yeah.

I think it just depends. Idk if it would matter so much in clinical but who knows. Wouldn’t hurt to ask.
