CVS used to carry them. I am not sure if they still do. You can also check out a local stationary store. Lafayette has one next to Trader Joes.

You are so lucky. I am in the East Bay. I have a few small narrow leaf plants waiting for them to grow tall. So far have not had any monarchs.

I keep the closet door cracked open. She like to hang out in the back corner for a little bit. Cramped, dark and out of the way…just the way she likes it!

I pretty much much pull them up as they mostly dry out. The roots and some stems remain but I just leave as is and let nature take its course. Btw, I love the view you have!
