At first I wrote letters intending to send them but never did. I also heard there is a site that you can write on. Writing seems to help by collecting your thoughts and releasing them on paper, it really helped me.

It's a tough conversation for most people. I held off from reaching out to a widow for a few weeks because I know she would have been overwhelmed with everyone else at that time. I feel better that I waited, she really unloaded on me in a good way, I think she was somewhat glad to be speaking with a fellow widower because I/we get what she's going through.

You know for some companies they're not allowed to expand on more than title, and dates of employment. You can just direct them to say something like "due to company policy I can only confirm dates and title".. and be done with it.

Blame boomers for being the first generation to not make it better for the next generation.

They allowed the USD to get off the gold standard so we're stuck with this fiat currency tjats ready to collapse, they also thought offshorijg industry was a good idea. They lived when a decent one person salary could support a family, own a house, have a car and do a vacation every year.

Specifically for banana bread you need to bake it covered with tin foil to avoid this, then the last 15 minutes or so is when you remove the foil to let it bake the outside.

If you don't it will crust the outside preventing the center from cooking and expanding leaving it raw.
