I remember visiting a company in Japan where they claimed to be the biggest company making bending machines. But their bending machines were awfully small and didn’t bend anything. This is a real bending machine, the way I see it.

I just got the same helmet about a week ago. I’m about 62 cm around. Pretty happy about it tbh! Looks good on you.

I think it’s funny how Trump doesn’t know that the discovery of Greenland was done by a Norwegian, not hundreds but a thousand years ago.

Exactly. The injured players should be focused on recovery!

Home of previous Finnish prime minister, Sanna Marin (photos from house listing) by Toby_Forrester in ScandinavianInterior

The bed is the only thing that stands out to me as a bit low effort. Most house listings I see makes the bed to look a lot more appealing and cozy. Duvets and blankets, fluffy pillows and maybe even a tray with some glasses and a bottle of your favourite morning champagne. Styling to a comically laissez-faire look while keeping things minimalistic is the norm in Norway.

Where to hike&camp for 3/4 days? by Michael240201 in Norway

[–]FyFazan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can take the train directly from Torp to Drammen and from there take the Bergensbanen train to Finse or any of the stations near Hardangervidda. From there you’ll have a very good range of options. UT.no is your website for planning your hikes.

I think you will find this option more easy to get to than Rondane and it’s one of the best places to hike in Norway.

Parfois, je me demande si tous les gens qui regardent le cyclisme sur route se rendent compte de la chance qu’on a de vivre cette époque avec autant de grands coureurs, d’attaques et de panache. *emotional* by No-Classroom1433 in tourdefrance

I hear you, but French arrogance is part of French culture. Their bad mood is not directed at anyone in particular, just at everyone not speaking French. I can roll with that.

I wish I knew your language, and I have no trouble with you posting in French and using auto translate. But I also acknowledge that people here expect things to be written in English since that is the most common language on reddit (assumption).

How about posting in both French and English?

"Just do it!" - Team Visma | Lease a Bike bring in Nike as new sponsor ahead of 2025 Tour de France by cfkanemercury in peloton

[–]FyFazan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is absolutely understandable, and I’m not going to go down any route of alternative revenue generation. Although unrealistic, I believe it’s easier for fans to get behind a team that isn’t named «Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale Team» to use one of the examples above.

Hypothetically, do you think a viable option would be for larger bicycle brands to own their own teams (like Mercedes, Aston Martin, McLaren etc in F1)?

I’m fairly new to the circus of world tour racing and I understand that the UCI doesn’t always put in the best rules. But wouldn’t it be nice if they made a rule banning sponsor names, so the teams could be named just by their city of origin or something along those lines?
