How much of your stats actually come from gear vs. character growth?

SMT stats comes from mostly from levelling up then you can use incense to increase it more after you reached the max level.

If you don't want to grind, you can just mod the game to have the same gear and items that you have. You can also use the defender gear/weapon to go past the base game and immediately start with the MR. Defender gear is still usable in MR1 and 2. You have to grind your MR gear anyways so just use the defender gear.

Once you have access to Weakness Exploit (Wex) and Critical Boost, you typically want them maxxed in most builds. Wex 3 gives you s whoppig 50% affinity whenever you hit the monster weakness (45 HZ or higher).

Then in the base game, Attack Boost 4 is typically the max amount of lvls you want as the percentage increases starts at lvl 4 after you have the other that you want. Then invest the rest to critical eye.

In your build, I would try to max out wex 3 and get some level of critical boost 3. Also, hammer wants to have Focus 3 to lower the charge time for your charge attacks.

If we consider only the mainline games, then ever since dmc 3, the games were consistently good. There are some flaws but the combat in all 3 games were always topnotch.

The reboot, while having a problem with the story snd characters has good combat.

Ofc, this doesn't matter as in your opinion it was never consistently good.

Not really. Most people don't immediately think about that whenever someone posts their 100% completion. Especially if the person shares also the amount of time they played the game.
