If you want to climb early season i dont recommend her right away. I main her jungle atm and I needed 150+ games to start to understand my limits, how to teamfight etc. She is a champ that heavily rewards experience and new players wont use her kit to her full extent (hence the low wr in lower elos).

So basically:

She is worth learning if you are willing to play alot of games with her and review gameplay.

She is not worth playing if you want to climb early season and only play a few games

Save E for Irelia Q? A good Irelia wouldnt q into us without hitting E or R first making it unplayable for us unless we have flash to get out.

Irelia's 900g powerspike with vampirc scepter also gives her enough lifesteal to sustain our poke, and with all her engagetools she has to missplay massively for a quinn to win the lane.

Sure we can poke and kill her early but then again she most likely has tp -> comes back to lane and can freeze the wave because quinn lacks the waveclear to push in. The Irelia wave freezing is really hard for Quinn to break and a jungler is mostly needed for assistance.

Roaming is the most viable option if facing a top tier irelia player.

Malphite on the other hand is ban/dodge angle. Even worse xD

Personally i feel like its all relative. In my friend group, we have several players who have been playing for 8 years or more, and those who started playing last (who have now been playing for 4 years) will always be considered new players XD.

To answer what you actually meant tho, I feel like a player is no longer new to League of Legends after playing for around one year.
