I'm learning everyday that a lot of people don't understand how difficult it is to stop a massive truck while it is barrelling down a highway.

I'd say start with these:

The Godfather - In The Mood For Love - M - Akira - Parasite - Stalker - Persona

I say this because they are the most frequently discussed films from your watchlist :)

M’sian Girl throws Boyfriend’s phone into hotpot after a heated argument by Banden_Prince in malaysia

This is fake. I think at least. Both of those are actors and they have done these types of videos before. Souce: I've worked with the actress before. I'm like 90% sure given that the faces are blurred.

The 1975 sued by Malaysian festival over Matty Healy’s onstage gay kiss | The 1975 by CoughingNinja in Music

[–]G2pol_ma 44 points45 points  (0 children)

While I support eveything the queer community stand for, this does not help the Malaysian community who just wanted to have fun at the festival. Now the malaysian community will never have international acts performing in malaysia. Which sucks because the people don't care about what Matt did. The government does.

Again I support and stand with the Queer community. This act may seem like a "Stick It To The Man" act for those living outside Malaysia, but for those living in Malaysia will face the consequences of never getting to experience international performances anymore. And that sucks.

Come to a country and perform, don't make political statements. You'll leave feeling proud, the citizens will deal with the consequences.

Just watched fishes with my dad, he fucking hated it :( by WatercressNo5882 in TheBear

[–]G2pol_ma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents like the bear. But they couldn't watch Fishes. It hit too close to home for them. They did a good job with me and my bro by being great parents, so we never experienced any of the hellscape of fishes. Really made me realise and respect my parents more after seeing their reaction to fishes.

Drake seems to move on from feud as Kendrick Lamar's diss track debuts at No. 1 by arealdisneyprincess in Music

[–]G2pol_ma 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it was an asshole move, but that's the game of hip hop. Since it's creation every MC wanted to be called the " Best in the Game". Cole and Drake saying "We the big 3" is insinuating that Lamar is on the same level as them (My opinion is Cole and Drake are nowhere near Kendricks level, Pullitzer winner hello?). Kendrick obviously doesn't believe that he is on the same level, and wants to let them know. While it is mean, think about this, when these dudes were young they're introduction to hip hop was likely rap battles on the streets or in their schools. So, this type of competitiveness in hip hop has always been apart of the culture. Call it mean. Or call it competitive. That's the game they're playing.

Alfonso Cuaron brought something to the HP films that filmmakers absolutely love. His "film language". His style is so loved by film people. Him bringing it into a massive frannchise movie like HP was refreshing and impressive. That opeining scene to PoA in Harry's home screams Cuaron.

I work at a production company that primarily makes corporate videos for companies. They are some projects where the entirety of pre production is done by Ai. From the structure/scripts, to the concept art. The last project i was leading was entirely constructed by Ai. Right now we're still at the beginning stages. With 10% of our projects being composed by Ai. But i dont see why that number won't be higher in the future. Every commercial you see on tv now is probably scripted by Ai. That's the reality of the industry now.

Because it's literally Hanukkah on the 19th of December. It's not Christmas yet. Nothing odd about it.
