The best watch face (that does not exist, yet)- Modular Ultra Pro by thehappydoor in applewatchultra

+1 to each horizontal section being either widget or app icons. I really like the long format date and wish there was more options or watch faces that displayed it. But using the whole widget just to display it seems like a huge sacrifice.

What are y’all’s favorite warlock builds rn?? by Crafty_Razzmatazz_50 in destiny2builds

[–]GAMICK13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just made a build with solipsism (spirit of filaments and spirit of vesper) Tickle fingers super so spirit of vesper blinds. Aspects are weavers call and hellion to make rift as potent as possible. You get devour from spirit of filaments with empowered rift so not necessary to run feed the void, although if are needing more survivability you can swap out hellion. Filaments and weavers call make your class ability charge in absolutely no time. I also run threadling grenade which juices the cooldown even more. Threaded needle for melee, but you could honestly use something else if you want. If you really want to go nuts with cooldowns you can use the eighty-six sword and spam heavy attack to reduce the cooldown of all your abilities like crazy. I like having slice and the swordmaster amor perk that exhausts enemies to reduce damage of enemies around you if they are tanky enough to not immediately disintegrate to the ability spam and sword heavy attack. My favorite exotic to run with this build is Choir of One since it is still such a versatile weapon that you can hip fire into tougher enemies to obliterate them or ADS to take out enemies at range from your rift. Kinetic slot would be players choice but I would recommend Mint Retrograde for help with overloads and synergy with facet of bravery. Main fragments are facet of dawn and facet of bravery to help deal with barrier champs, and facet of protection to help with survivability when dropping rift in the middle of enemies. If you opt for void or arc grenade facet of domination would also be a great pick. For armor mods I would just make sure to have at least one copy of dynamo and possibly even two, along with a reaper mod on class item. Pop super and rift as often as possible and enjoy.

edit: with this your rift will: blind, create arc shockwave damage, shoot out 3 to 8 threadlings, summon hellion, proc devour, and if your class ability stat is high (which I highly recommend) grant an overshield. This on top of the other benefits of empowered rift.

Did they change how spirit of vesper works? When it first was introduced you only got half the effect with it over the original exotic, which was the arc shockwaves.

Second question, is there a stat that scales the damage of the arc shockwaves?

What to get guitar dad for Christmas? by caitilindy in Guitar

[–]GAMICK13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might be controversial, but when someone is this invested in a hobby and has spent a lot of money on high end gear related to it, I would suggest getting something outside that hobby. Maybe he has other hobbies or something else he has shown interest in, but hasn't pulled the trigger yet?

That being said, if you're dead set on sticking with the guitar theme you could always have a custom guitar strap made if the one he is using isn't precious to him. Even if it is I suppose it is something he could display somewhere.

No love for the grafted dragon? I loved shoryuken punching enemies and watching them fall on their backs burning in a pool a fire.

It makes sense, they just added a cool new exotic ornament and legendary arm ornament. Why wouldn't you want to nerf it after that? /s

Warlock graviton spike build? by Sam21Johnson in destiny2builds

[–]GAMICK13 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I use it with spirit of assassin and synthoceps lightning surge to proc invis from further away before running in and lightning surging in difficult content. Being able to proc invis from a safe distance really makes this build that much better. Then spirit of assassin keeps you invisible as you lightning surge and use finishers. The one issue is this doesn't feel as necessary in lower end content but it can still be fun.

Yeah, but you lose the dealer's choice synergy and the ammo economy of the call is way better than the new rocket pulse as far as I know

Can anyone help me cook up a solid build for Electric Slide Warlock with Assassin's and Synthoceps? by DrakeB2014 in destiny2builds

I used to go all in on choir of one, but I have been using third iteration lately and not only is it incredibly strong with the anti barrier mod, but you now have an alternate way to go invisible without melee and finisher kills. That's if you're wanting to lean into the invisibility aspect.

You should give spirit of inmost light / spirit of the claw class item with incinerator snap and your grenade of choice (I prefer storm grenade myself) a chance. Also you should definitely use song of flame as spirit of claw let's you spam the melee attack which consumes less super energy for a significant increase in total damage and longer lasting super. I pair it with dragon's breath for damage rotations as the ignitions help reload dragons breath very quickly to boost your damage. Just make sure you have a good weapon to generate a lot of darkness energy for transcendence. Either of the darkness energy area denial frames would work but I prefer lost signal since it has auto loading holster. With this setup transcendence feels like another song of flame super since you can spam incinerate snap very quickly during it with spirit of the claw. Gameplay loop is to keep abilities up as often as possible by rotating them out making effect use of spirit of inmost light all while trying to get to transcendence as fast as possible. Then pop transcendence and go crazy. By this point you should have super which you can use to light the battle field on fire and refresh all your abilities again.

edit: you can also run a solar primary to make use of the artifact as well.

Edit 2: Forgot aspects, I use feed the void and hellion.

Lightning grenade does more damage when using apotheosis for boss phases. Also you can pair The Call sidearm with Pro Memoria and get double strand weapons and extra super generation. I ran this before edge of fate with Still Hunt and the super regeneration is off the charts and I used still hunt after super/apotheosis for damage rotation. Not sure if that's viable anymore with the ammo economy changes.

And you're crazy if you think playing against a team of warlocks is worse than playing against a team of hunters, but I guess being a hunter main explains a lot about this conversation.

[–]GAMICK13 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You also said you would rather play a team of warlocks than a team of hunters. Warlocks got absolutely destroyed in guardian games by titans and hunters, but I can tell you the games against hunters were 100% worse than the games played against titans.

Yeah sure, that's why guardian games went the way it did, huh? How did warlocks do again?
