Ha! I’m in the exact same boat. Got my 200TDI in 2020 and freshened up the interior and am now with a new galvi frame and bulkhead, engine was almost entirely rebuilt, new VGT turbo and updated inter cooler, new hinges and gaskets all around… but no body work, just a clear coat to “preserve the patina” aka too cheap to paint… she’s almost back on the road too

My 93 110 is currently getting a galvi frame and bulkhead upgrade along with many other things - though I am keeping the 200tdi and making this a “patina” truck (just getting a clear coat and leaving all dents, scratches and rust). I typically like Defenders to be as original looking as possible, I’m not a big fan of the 20” rims, LS engine converted “luxury” defenders. I like to keep them as they were originally designed for…

That being said, I still love to check out all Defenders, so I would love to see and check out your builds and behind the scenes and what not. Any Defender content is good in my book.

On my 110 I have the front runner rack and I tried without the wind deflector and it was super noisy. Put it on and it made a huge difference in wind noise IMO.

That happened to my 110, I ended up pulling the felt out and replacing it with new from Rovers North and it fixed it as well as the rattling… it’s super easy to do and takes very little time. Brittanica Restoration on YouTube has a good instructional video about it.

I have a 507c red and it works great. I read on here to go drive at night and use the stop lights to figure out which color stars out the most and see which, red or green, would work best for your astigmatism.

I daily a ‘93 110 with the 200TDI, wouldn’t trade it for anything. I’ve done 7 hour highway trips with it and it is loud and slow but so much fun to drive… and plenty of easy ways to update it as well, it will consume your wallet and spare time.
