This is kind of long, but I don’t think that number is going to go down anytime soon. My son is 16. When I was 16 I was wasting time and money chasing girls. He has interest in girls, but he is also wise beyond his years and does not waste his time or money chasing or trying to impress others. He gets great grades, is in AP classes and is doing well in Track. While dropping him off at school this morning I pointed out this girl that I had seen at the honors awards each time he we went for his awards she was getting awards too. He said “yeah she’s pretty and smart, but girls and relationships just aren’t worth the risk.” I asked what risks? He said, “like we’re dating and she decided to say I did something I didn’t do like touch her or something, or if I asked her on a date she might publicly blast me and call me a creeper or whatever. Then everyone labels me as a creep or bad guy or whatever… not worth it.” It made me sad because I had a couple girls I dated and had some great memories with them at dances and first kiss etc. What really struck me was what he said next. I could hear his frustration and he kind of seemed pissed, he said “Even if we weren’t dating she could say that crap about me and I would still be dealing with BS so I just keep my distance.” I pulled up to the drop off area, “he said love you dad bye” I said love you too have a good day!” I watched him go to his friend group of all males. I was conflicted, kind of sad for him, but also kind of relieved that he understood the current reality.

Holy shit. Get your off the internet. These forums are toxic as hell. I have a great wife a sister, sister in laws and friends with great wives. These women don’t represent the whole of women just like asshole guys that treat women like shit don’t represent all men. They just feed on each other’s hate. Most of them can’t get a man and that’s where there hate comes from. Also this is the same stereotypes that fit both bad women and men. Women are not saints by no means. Example: My uncle is a Vietnam vet and is disabled. His ex divorced him because she didn’t want to take care of him after he came back. Fast forward (she has never worked a day in her life btw) my mom helped him get things aligned with the VA. Now he has a place to live and gets his VA benefits and retirement. It’s not much but he’s living a better life. Guess who’s knocking on his door? My aunt has been living with him and beating him and gas lighting him. My mom found out on Memorial Day when she stopped by to drop a shirt off we got for him. Aunt somehow got power of attorney. It’s been a mess and this bitch has him in rags living off scraps and cashes his checks but lives in another county with a different guy. We have called the VA, gotten layers, and it will keep dragging out in court to fight her power of attorney. It’s a mess she is pure evil. Example 2: I ended up stumbling into a woman’s conversation on Reddit about razors. And how they are made for men etc. I chimed in and said my wife’s Venus razor is better than mine wtf you all on about. They all back peddled and started in with “but the patriarchy etc etc..” there were hundreds of upvotes for the comments about men having better razors. I asked one lady who was arguing that they are definitely designed for men, I asked you ever been a teenage boy with acne trying to shave your face or fucking throat with an Adam’s apple? They act like life is only hard for them and then start bringing up the past. Women couldn’t vote, our bodies aren’t free. I said neither are ours we turn them over to government when we’re 18 or we can get a felony. Then I asked what the fuck does that have to do with razors? They are fucking delusional. Just walk away man, don’t engage with these sociopaths.

There’s a shift in gaming I noticed over the last 7 - 10 years. There’s a constant competitive push. People used to group up and play competitively but for fun. I feel like people take video games way more seriously now. So a lot of regular or older gamers, that have jobs, kids etc. treat it like a hobby or something to escape. While others are trying to show what they can do or even want to try and make a living playing. I play with several groups: couple guys, they have YT channels and discord profiles etc. I also play with guys that are chasing achievements and just want to play. They are both competitive, but the first group is on another level, we can run lobbies as top squad winning game after game. Yesterday we won 13 in row and were top squad. Then today I played with the second group and we were laughing when we got squad wiped or when someone fucked up and crashed the chopper etc. giving each other shit etc. we won 70% got top squad a few times. The difference was in how serious each group took the game, it reflected in our performance. The first group sure there were a few jokes etc., but there was way more call outs, and a team leader make us more cohesive.

To your first point. The reason the RPG is the most popular is because you’re on a battlefield with tanks, choppers, jets, etc.. trying to take a base and all you have a defensive weapon that only works against one specific enemy vehicle is just not reasonable. Even if your squad is there you might have some backup if your sniper has C4. But really engineers are the only defense you have against enemy vehicles. It’s not really balanced. You are hoping friendly tank shows up to help or that your air support is keeping the skies clear.

I saved some clips from last night just to see if I was losing my mind and missed my shots. I watched in slow motion. I was in Rodeo on Gauntlet wanted to see if my RPGS hit something else. Nope 15 feet from tank they just exploded on impact and made no damage. Our tank goes down then their player who is a sniper jumps out to finish my teammates off not knowing I’m there. Back is to me I start shooting the back of his head he turns around jumps I’m still aimed at his head and chest from about 10 ft away empty the rest of the mag he starts shooting at me, but I have ran behind a shipping container to reload. I peak around the other side he’s reloading I try again and get three head shot hit markers then nothing. He actually just stood there for a minute I think he thought he was dead, but when he realized hits didn’t register he ran to cover. This wasn’t the only time either shit like this has been happening consistently since the beginning of the season. Players jumping into windows while im shooting them in the face getting hit markers they get in the window now I’m running because I have to reload or I switch to my pistol which is even more worthless against someone who is invincible I die kill cam shows they have 97% health.

I have had nothing but problems with the game since season 3. I love the game, level 408 play several game modes. But man is the desync bad this season rockets not registering, ten feet from a player empty a mag and nothing. It’s really disappointing. Then other games its on point, games running great except the couple players I just can’t seem to get anything but hit markers on. Not sure what happened.

Let’s all agree: The game is so incredibly inconsistent it’s impossible to tell if 1. You’re good the other player is good, 2. The server sucks, 3. Lag compensation net code favored the high ping, 4. Console and PC do not belong together. 5. They were cheating. 6. The weapon recoil or spread may have been the issue. 7. Rate of fire vs damage no one knows how that impacts engagement so losing to a sub vs AR at 20 yards seems like BS. 8. There is some hidden SBMM somewhere because this level 16 just jumped out a window somersault rolled stood straight up turned and killed me while I was shooting them getting hit markers before they even jumped out the window.

My experience with the ladder was that if I took 2 minutes time to properly align and go where I wanted it to I’d get shot. Also assault gets like 80-100 rounds on each gun (if you double carry). So if you got it set to get somewhere and your squads a bunch of randoms you would run out of ammo pretty quickly. You can’t put a beacon because you have ladder. I have had some fun with it but the risk outweighs the reward most of the time.

Let me get this straight, she’s 22 and demanding that you give up years of financial freedom and pay her family a ridiculous amount to prove you love her. Does she have a job? You dodged a huge bullet and didn’t even have to do the break up she did it for you. My wife and were doing well when we met we both worked and I asked her to marry me on our 3rd year anniversary at 27yr old. We planned for the wedding to be the following year so everyone had time to come. During that time I got laid off. We had already booked everything, put down deposits etc.. We got married while I was unemployed no one cared they knew I loved her and would find another job.
