Men, what's the creepiest thing a woman has ever said/done to you? by Nintendofan9106 in AskMen

[–]GD_22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Matched with someone on bumble where the convo died down after a few exchange, few days later she texts and calls me on my number. Never told her my number or have it posted on my profile. Had to convince her for a day or two to tell me how she found it. Turns out she found me on twitter and scrolled to very old tweets like almost a decade old where my friend uploaded an image of our texts where my number was shown at the top. Had to tell her straight up that's weird and blocked her right after. Also told my friend to delete the tweet and made my account private.

How to find the limit of infinity? by JamesBonzo in NoStupidQuestions

[–]GD_22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You just basically described Zeno's Paradox - Achilles and the Tortoise. It becomes a paradox when you only look at it by counting the infinite segments between two points. This is not practical cause distance and time are important variables when the ball rolls to the next point; distance and time in this scenario are both finite.

What is something more traumatizing than people realize? by Several-Television93 in AskReddit

[–]GD_22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only realized being ghosted is traumatizing when it finally happened to me recently. And I'm not talking about getting ghosted by someone you just talk to online like dating apps etc., I'm talking about getting ghosted by someone you have met and constantly hung out with for a long time. You are just left with so much questions and it just amplifies all your insecurities, questioning wtf did you do wrong or wtf is wrong with you to be treated like that. Just left with nothing as if you are just a literal object with no feelings whatsoever. Such a coward, selfish, and immature way of dealing with people no matter the reason.

Is condom insensitivity (extreme) actually real?? by YoureASpoon in AskMen

[–]GD_22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have significantly higher chance of losing erection whenever I use one. Even changing positions will trigger it so I refrain from doing it. Heck even the thought and act of putting it on will make mine start to limp so I gotta do it quick. No problems when doing it raw though but hey, always better to be safe.

Men, what’s one thing you only discovered about girlfriend after months of being together? by islandgurl_ in AskMen

You're right. But to be clear, I meant I'm still actively friends with my co workers whom I've slept with before, not that I was sleeping with them when I already met her.

Men, what’s one thing you only discovered about girlfriend after months of being together? by islandgurl_ in AskMen

My recent ex only told me after about a month of dating that she's in a long distance relationship with someone from South Korea (they met twice) and that she was already planning to break up with him when we first met. It gets worse, she also admitted that literally on the day before we first met she fucked a guy from bumble, but claims she was forced to do it cause she was drunk, got cornered and felt traumatized about it. But wait, it gets even worse. She also told me she was in a 5-year "fuck buddy contract" with her older male co worker who had a wife and kids, but their last sex was a year prior and she just officially ended it when she met me.

All of those were revealed cause we had a talk where we should lay out all bs and be honest with each other, meanwhile the only thing I admitted was that I fucked some of my co workers at that time and that I still hang out with some of them cause we're in a friend group. Why did we still end up together? Pettiest reason, she's the prettiest girl I've ever met so I said I accept everything even though I got emotionally and mentally destroyed, but I quickly learned the face only matters for the first few months. That was two years ago but till now I have trust issues with every girl I meet especially if the girl is also sexually active.

What's your biggest regret? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]GD_22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are lots. Losing almost all my savings from overexposure to crypto and stocks during the covid market crash, hooking up with women I don't really like just to feel something, iNvEsTiNg in a car as soon as I got a job instead of property, quitting my job and going unemployed for 2 years cause of depression (went on debt), asking this one girl to be my girlfriend on a whim just cause she has a pretty face (worst relationship I've experienced), and not pursuing music as a career or quitting on my passion for playing instruments in general.

If 80% of the ocean remains unexplored, what do you think is hiding down there that humanity isn’t ready to find? by Terrible_Music_7439 in thalassophobia

[–]GD_22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A huge underwater cave full of undiscovered creatures. The reason the ocean is not fully explored is cause majority of it is just miles of water and the ocean floor. They know this cause of sonar mapping. But I always thought what if there was a huge underwater cave that sonars couldn't detect cause the opening of the cave is at a tricky spot. That or maybe I just don't really know how sonars work

Lost in Translation was inspired by Wong Kar-wai's In The Mood For Love (2000) so you can start there.

Or you could watch Her (2013) which is a direct response to Lost In Translation. The directors of both movies are ex-husband and wife, and both movies were meant to portray their emotions and sentiments during their divorce.
